Split Screen (Couch Co-op) is only available on for Console Players in Diablo 4 (D4). PC players do not have access to Split Screen play. Read on to learn more about how to play Diablo 4 on Split Screen!

Can you Play Split Screen?

Only Available for Consoles

Split Screen play is only available for Consoles and is limited to up to 2 players. Do note that the two-player limit is only for Split Screen; they can still party up to four players.

Split Screen is not available for PC players as the feature is exclusive only to consoles.

How to Play Split Screen

Log in Two Accounts in the Console

To play Split Screen on console, players must log in to two accounts. You can do this by launching the game and turning on the second controller. Below is a full list of steps for playing split screen:

  1. Launch Diablo 4 on your console.
  2. Connect the second controller (P2).
  3. A prompt will appear on your console, press the corresponding button to enable Split Screen
  4. Log P2 into their Xbox or PSN account linked to Blizzard.
  5. P2 can only join P1 after P1 selects a character and is in the game world.
