What is Darkness

Vision Impairing Debuff

Players afflicted with Darkness will have everything but the immediate area round their character blackened, severely reducing line of sight and vision and disabling skills from being used. Darkness is primarily used by Necromancers.

How to Avoid Darkness

Watch Out for AoEs

Darkness is usually applied by enemies in the form of an area of effect similar to that of poison. Keep an eye out for dark puddles left behind by enemy attacks.

Use Unstoppable or Immunity Skills

Skills that grant Unstoppable or Immune will allow you to cleanse Darkness and quickly escape before being overwhelmed or swarmed by enemies.

Necromancer Skills

Skill Effect
ReaperReaper's Pursuit Damaging enemies with Darkness Skills increases your Movement Speed by XX% for 3 seconds.
GloomGloom When you damage enemies with Darkness Skills, they take XX% increased Shadow Damage from you and your Minions for 2 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.
Crippling DarknessCrippling Darkness Lucky Hit: Darkness Skills have up to a 15% chance to Stun for XX seconds.

Skill Effect
Torturous Aspect ImageTorturous Aspect Iron Maiden is now also a Darkness Skill and deals Shadow damage. Enemies have a 10 - 25% chance to be Stunned for 1 second when they take damage from Iron Maiden.
Aspect of Ultimate Shadow ImageAspect of Ultimate Shadow Bone Storm and Blood Wave are also Darkness Skills, deal Shadow damage, and gain additional effects. Enemies damaged by Bone Storm take 0.43-0.48 Shadow damage over 2 seconds. Blood Wave desecrates the ground it travels over, dealing (YY) Shadow damage over 4 seconds
