The queue for Diablo 4 (D4) can sometimes take longer than listed in the game due to issues like Authentication Pending. Learn how long login queues generally take, and tips to make the queue go faster!

The Queue Time can also be extended when the Authentication Pending step takes a long time to complete. You'll need to simply wait this one out as it will resolve over time.
From our experience, it can take as long as 10 minutes for Authentication Pending to resolve, but this is not an error and the step will be completed eventually.

Although the Queue Time listed generally shows 1-3 minutes, the loading time will generally take about 10x longer than listed, taking from 10 to 30 minutes for a new player to join the game.
It's expected that the wait times will get shorter as the beta continues, and right now the times are extended due to the sudden user influx from the release of the game.

This is a joke from a company that has idk how many server banks at its finger tips?... why force us to wait 2 hours to login after paying an extortionate 99.99 for the privilege to wait 2 hours in a queue ??? No thankyou blizzard ill try play next weekend after login in for less than 30 minutes to be kicked off the server and to wait 2 hours to log back in???? No thankyou
