Diablo 4 - How to Trade

In Diablo 4 (D4), nearby players can trade with one another using the Invite to Trade option from the Action Wheel. Read on to learn how to trade, and check out the list of all tradeable items and equipment!

How to Trade with Other Players in Diablo 4

Select the player you want to trade with, then bring up the Action Wheel.

Select the Invite to Trade option to send a trade invitation to the player.

Wait for them to click on the Accept button, which will make the Trading Window appear.

Place the items and Gold you plan on trading away to the other player in the Trading Window, then press the Lock In Offer button.

If you want to make any edits to your trade offer, press the Edit Offer button.

Once both players have placed their items in the window and locked in their offers, press the Accept Trade button to complete the transaction.

In addition to the currently-known restrictions for item trading listed in the table above, any item marked with Account Bound is guaranteed to be untradeable.

Account Bound items are special items that are tied to your account and cannot be traded away. You can identify these items by the Account Bound tag on the bottom-right of their tooltip.
