Are Diablo 4 Classes Gender Locked?
No Gender-Locked Classes in the Game
Diablo 4 features no gender-locked classes, allowing players to choose between two body types and providing more customization options when making their characters.
Having no gender-locked classes also means players can play female Druids and male Rogues for the first time in the Diablo franchise.
Character Customization Options
Previous Titles Had Gender-Locked Classes
In the original Diablo (1997) and Diablo 2 (2000), each class was locked to a particular gender. For example, if a player wanted to create an Amazon or Assassin in Diablo 2, they could only play them as female characters.
