Malignant Rings are Unique Items that manifest the Malignant powers of Diablo 4 (D4). Here's a breakdown of each Malignant Ring, their effects and affixes as well as how to get them.

This effect is treated as a Trap Skill and can only spawn one Decoy Trap every 6 seconds. Item Affixes: ・+ 10% Resistance to All Elements and + 10% Shadow Resistance ・+ 76 - 90 Dexterity ・+ 62.5 - 85% Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies ・+ 171 - 225% Trap Damage ・8 - 12.5% Subterfuge Cooldown Reduction |

Effect: After spending 100 Fury within 3 seconds, your next cast of Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, or Death Blow within 5 seconds is a guaranteed Critical Strike and deals 30 - 60% bonus Critical Strike Damage. Item Affixes: ・+ 10% Resistance to All Elements and + 10% Fire Resistance ・+ 9 - 15 Maximum Resource ・+ 7 - 9% Attack Speed ・+ 88 - 115% Critical Strike Damage ・+ 32 - 40% Fire Resistance |
 Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul

Effect: You automatically activate the following equipped Skills on Corpses around you: Raise Skeleton every 2 - 1 seconds. Corpse Explosion every 2 - 1 seconds. Corpse Tendrils every 12-6 seconds. Item Affixes: ・+ 10% Resistance to All Elements and + 10% Poison Resistance ・+ 5 - 6 Lucky Hit Chance ・+ 12.5 - 18% Movement Speed ・+ 1 - 2 to Corpse Skills ・+ 2 - 3 to Grim Harvest |
5 Malignant Rings, one for each class, can be found in-game. These are unique items with abilities based on the Malignant Powers from Season 1.
As per the developers, the Malignant Rings are a way to reintroduce popular seasonal content beyond the season and into the eternal realm.

 Echo of Varshan
|
Out of all the Boss Ladders, Malignant Rings specifically drop from Echo of Varshan as the boss introduced from Season 1. To fight Varshan, you must gather and offer Malignant Hearts, which are obtained through various world events.
Malignant Rings can also be obtained from activities with high Unique drop rates such as Nightmare Dungeons, Whisper Caches, Helltide chests, and World Bosses. Make sure to track these world events to get a chance of obtaining Malignant Rings.
If you are feeling lucky, you can also take your chances at the Purveyor of Curiosity and spend your Murmuring Obols for purchasing gear.
Keep in mind that the rarity of gear you can get will range from Magic to Mythic Unique items, so it would take a bit of luck to get your hands on one.
