5 Malignant Rings are going to be added to Diablo 4 (D4). Here's a breakdown of each Malignant Ring, their effects and affixes as well as how to get them.

Writhing Band of Trickery (Rogue)	Effect: Casting a Subterfuge Skill leaves behind a Decoy Trap that continuously Taunts and lures enemies. The Decoy Trap explodes after 3 seconds dealing 5521-8281 Shadow damage. Can occur every 12 seconds. Item Affixes: ・Resistance to All Elements and Shadow Resistance ・Critical Strike Chance ・Critical Strike Damage ・Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies ・Maximum Life
Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop (Sorcerer)	Effect: For each type of Elemental damage you deal, gain 10.0-15.0% increased damage for 4 seconds. Dealing Elemental damage refreshes all bonuses. Item Affixes: ・Resistance to All Elements ・Non-Physical Damage ・Lucky Hit Chance ・Resource Generation ・Cooldown Reduction
Ring of Red Furor (Barbarian)	Effect: After spending 100 Fury within 3 seconds, your next cast of Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, or Death Blow is a guaranteed Critical Strike and deals 10-30% bonus Critical Strike Damage. Item Affixes: ・Resistance to All Elements and Fire Resistance ・Strength ・Attack Speed ・Maximum Fury ・Resource Generation
Airidah's Inexorable Will (Druid)	Effect: When casting an Ultimate Skill and again 5 seconds after, you Pull in Distant enemies and deal 1380-2760 Physical damage to them. This damage is icreased by 1.0% per 1 point of WIllpower you have. Item Affixes: ・Resistance to All Elements and Lightning Resistance ・Willpower ・Damage to Close Enemies ・Lucky Hit Chance ・Ultimate Skill Cooldown Reduction
Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul (Necromancer)	Effect: You automatically activate the following equipped Skills on Corpses around you: Raise Skeleton every 2.0-1.0 seconds. Corpse Explosion every 2.0-1.0 seconds. Corpse Tendrils every 16-8 seconds. Item Affixes: ・Resistance to All Elements and Poison Resistance ・Lucky Hit Chance ・Maximum Life ・Maximum Essence ・Ranks of All Corpse Skills

5 Malignant Rings, one for each class, will be added to the game. These are new unique items with abilities based on the Malignant Powers from season 1.

As per the developers, the Malignant Rings are a way to reintroduce popular seasonal content beyond the season and into the eternal realm.

How to Farm Unique Items
Reach World Tier 3: Nightmare or Higher Open Tortured Gifts During Helltide Clear Out Nightmare Dungeons

Aside from the Echo of Varshan boss, it has not been confirmed if there are other ways to acquire the Malignant Rings. However, it has been announced that the new unique items will be available in both Seasonal and Eternal Realms.

And since Malignant Rings are unique items, there's a good chance that they are acquired the same way as other unique items.

How to Farm Uniques

Reach World Tier 3: Nightmare or Higher

Before you can start farming Unique items, you need to unlock World Tier 3 (Nightmare difficulty). You can reach this World Tier by finishing Diablo 4's main campaign and completing the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon at Kyovashad.

World Tier 4 (Torment difficulty) also drops Unique items with better stats and affixes. We recommend progressing toward this higher difficulty if you want to get the best Uniques possible.

How to Change World Tier Difficulty

Open Tortured Gifts and Hunt Elites During Helltide

Helltides are a great way to farm Uniques because Mystery Chests and all other Helltide Chests have a chance to drop Unique items. Elite mobs within the Helltide also have an increased +30% chance to drop an extra item, which means you have more chances at getting a Unique!

What Is the Helltide Event?

Clear Out Nightmare Dungeons

Aside from Helltide, we also suggest clearing out Nightmare Dungeons when farming Uniques. While difficult, these dungeons have plenty of high-level Elites and high mob density, making them excellent places for obtaining Legendary and Unique gear.

Nightmare Dungeons also have a +10% increased chance to drop Ancestral and Sacred Items, which means the Uniques that you get will be of higher quality. You get even more chances at Uniques because Elite mobs inside Nightmare Dungeons also have a +10% increased chance to drop another item, and clearing a Nightmare Dungeon has a +50% chance to drop a second Legendary.
