Upgrade Your Barbarian Skills

Combat Lunging Strike Barbarian Skill - Diablo 4

Berserk is an effect exclusively for the Barbarian class. With that said, specific Barbarian skills will give you the Berserk effect for a certain time when you use that skill. Make sure to upgrade your skills in the path that gives the Berserk effect.

Use Skills that Grant Berserking

Barbarian Skillset with Berserk - Diablo 4

Once you upgrade your skills to have the Berserk effect, press S to open up the skill menu and select the skills you want into your hotkeys. When you use that skill, it will grant you the Berserking effect.

Note: Some skills may require other conditions to get the Berserking effect.

Barbarian Skills

Skill Effect
Aggressive ResistanceAggressive Resistance Gain XX% Damage Reduction while Berserking.
Wrath of the BerserkerWrath of the Berserker Explode into rage, Knocking Back sorrounding enemies and gaining Berserking and Unstoppable for 5 seconds. For the next 10 seconds, dealing direct damage with Basic Skills grants Berserking for 5 seconds.
Battle FervorBattle Fervor When a Brawling Skill damages at least one enemy, gain Berserking for XX seconds.
Prolific FuryProlific Fury While Berserking, Fury Generation is increased by X%.

Skill Upgrades

Upgrade Description
Enhanced War CryEnhanced War Cry War Cry grants you Berserking for 4 seconds.
Furious Double SwingFurious Double Swing Casting Double Swing while Berserking grants 2 additional seconds of Berserking.
Battle FrenzyBattle Frenzy While Berserking, your other Skills gain 5% attack speed for each stack of Frenzy you have.
WarriorWarrior's Death Blow If Death Blow damages at least one enemy, gain Berserking for 3 seconds.
Violent UpheavalViolent Upheaval If Upheaval damages at least 2 enemies, you gain Berserking for 2 seconds, increased to 3 seconds if it damages at least 4 enemies.
FighterFighter's Steel Grasp If Steel Grasp damages an enemy, gain Berserking for 2 seconds.

What does Berserk do?

Increases Damage and Movement Speed

When Berserk is active, you gain 25% increased damage and 30% increased movement speed.
