Grigoire Location and How to Summon
Hall of the Penitent, Dry Steppes
The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.
- Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
- Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
- From here, click Mark as Acquired to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected, and add 1 to that pin type's Counter.
- To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to unclaimed.
- To check how many pins you have marked so far, check the Counter in the bottom left, and click the icon that looks like a checklist to see counters for all pin types.
- If the collected pins start to get in the way, you can hide them all by clicking the green Show Pins button on the left side.

 | Zoom In / Zoom Out This icon is found on the top left side of the map. You can press these buttons, or use your scroll wheel while hovering, to Zoom In and Out of the interactive map. |
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint can be found on any Torment difficulty inside the Hall of the Penitent in Dindai Flats, beside the Forgotten Depths dungeon. Like all other Uber Bosses, it is available on both the Eternal Realm or the Seasonal Realm. You'll need 12 Living Steel to open his Hoard and obtain his rewards.

How to Summon Grigoire
Simply interact with the Summoning Altar to begin the fight against Grigoire. As of Season 8, all Lair Bosses are now free to summon, but to obtain Grigoire's reward, you'll need to open the cache by spending 12 Living Steels.

Demonbinder Mount Armor
Grigoire has a chance of dropping the Demonbinder Mount Armor. To equip this mount armor, simply go to any stable master and equip it.
Shard of Agony
Defeating Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint rewards players with the Shard of Agony, a Lair Boss Key used to open the hoard of Duriel, the King of Maggots. In total, you need three Shards of Agony to open the hoard chest at the Gaping Crevasse in Kehjistan.
Stygian Stone
Aside from the usual drops, you can also obtain specific Stygian Stones from opening the hoard after defeating Grigoire. These are mostly used at the Alchemist to convert them into other Lair Boss Keys such as Pincushioned Doll, Shard of Agony, and Abhorrent Heart.
Mythic Unique Drops
Grigore's Hoard has a chance to drop Mythic Uniques by default. Additionally, opening Grigoire's Hoard also has a chance to drop multiple Mythic Uniques in a single fight!
If you are interested in target farming Mythic Unique Items, repeatedly defeating any of the Ladder and Uber Bosses is an effective strategy.

Lightning Resistance potions, gear, and gems can make this fight a breeze since all of Grigoire's attacks are lightning-based.
Optimize Build and Gear
This boss has complicated mechanics similar to Uber Lilith. We recommend optimizing your build and gear to efficiently take on this boss without worrying about DPS and survivability.
Girgoire Attack Patterns
Lightning Platforms and Landing
Square platforms in the area will be hit by lightning. Dodge these by moving to the middle area first, then move outside as Grigoire lands in the arena.
Lightning Balls
Grigoire swipes at the player as his mace releases balls of lightning. Dodge this by standing close to Grigoire and evading through his attack.
Electric Walls
Grigoire summons pillars that connect through lightning. Avoid these walls and reposition yourself as these can drain your health fast.
Knight Summon
Grigoire summons Knight Penitents to his aid. You need to clear these first to have a smooth run against Grigoire, as these knights can disrupt you, throwing off your combos.
Lightning Call
Grigoire calls down bolts of lightning in the arena. Run around and avoid the circles where the bolts would hit.
