Moonlight Ward

Moonlight WardMoonlight Ward For each Rank in your slotted Unique Witch Power, you gain 3% Damage Reduction and 0.5% Maximum Resistance to All Elements.

Moonlight Ward is the best Occult Gem for all builds, scaling exceptionally well into the late game. While it offers only defensive stats, it provides important and rare defensive options that benefit all builds when tackling the hardest content.

Alternative Defensive Gem

Gem Effects
CornucopiaCornucopia While you have three or more Growth % Decay Witch Powers slotted, you generate 30% more Barrier, gain 30% more Fortify and have 30% more Thorns.

Cornucopia provides a good defensive bonus for builds that can consistently generate or benefit from Barrier or Fortify and can be a good defensive Occult Gem alternative in the early game.

Raging Enigma

Gem Effects
Raging EnigmaRaging Enigma Your Unique Witch Powers deal 40% increased damage.

When paired with either the Doom Orb or The Cycle Witchcraft Powers, it can significantly enhance your damage against packs or even bosses. Once your build reaches the point of min-maxing Ancestral Gear and Mythic Uniques, you can switch to another Gem that can scale the damage of your Skills instead.

ToadlingToadling's Wish Your Non-Unique Growth & Decay Witch Powers gain 35% Potency.

These Magic Occult Gems increases the potency and damage of the Witchcraft Power of a specific type. However, this only increases the potency of the Non-Unique Witchcraft Powers, which is still a useful bonus!

Killing Wind

Gem Effects
Killing WindKilling Wind While you have three or more Eldritch Witch Powers slotted, gain 25% Movement Speed and 15% Critical Strike Chance.

The 25% Movement Speed from Killing Wind is a massive quality-of-life improvement for builds with enough damage and are focused on clearing content quickly. The Critical Strike Chance is a nice bonus too!

Alternative Occult Gem for Speed Clearing

Gem Effects
Hungering VoidHungering Void While you have an Aura active, pull Nearby enemies toward you every 8 seconds.

Hungering Void is another good Occult Gem you can use to improve clearing packs of enemies when you lack area-of-effect attacks or other crowd-controlling effects.
