This is a walkthrough for the Season 7 questline in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred (D4). Read on to discover how to unlock the questline and learn about the quests you must complete in Season 7.

 Speak to Gelena in Gea Kul to begin the questline. You'll need to finish the Vessel of Hatred campaign if you own it. ▶︎ How to Access Season 7 Questline |

 Investigate the clues and enter the Overgrown Tenement. Interact with the Exposed Roots and defeat the enemies that spawn. Survive the ambush, defeat the Enraged Headless Husk, then speak to Gelena. |

 Head to the Tree of Whispers and speak to Gelena again. Interact with the Coven's Favor and Altar of Witchcraft. |

Collect 6 Grim Favors by completing Whispers then return to Gelena.

| 1 | Speak to Gelena near the Tree of Whispers then interact with one of the Altars of Witchcraft. |

 Talk to Gelena again then enter the Silent Roothold in Yelesna. Defeat the Enraged Headless Husk at the end to clear the dungeon. |
| 3 | Pick up Belith's Head and return to the Tree of Whispers. Speak to Ouna then collect 8 Grim Favors to progress the quest. |

| 1 | Return to Gelena by the Tree of Whispers to start the ritual. Observe the order in which The Coven recites the names. |

 Interact with the left brazier first, then the right brazier, and finally the top brazier. Kill the snakes that spawn and collect their blood. |
| 3 |
 Draw the ritual circle using the blood by walking around the circle. Continue observing The Coven as they perform the ritual. |
| 4 | Defeat the enemies to keep them out of the ritual circle. Once all the waves are clear, speak to Gelena. You'll then need to collect 10 Grim Favors. |

Whispers in the Wind is a recurring quest in the Season of Witchcraft questline. The quest gives you a task to collect Grim Favors after certain quests in order to unlock the next quest. The best method for farming Grim Favors is by participating in the Headhunt zones.

| 1 | Speak to Caidin for more tasks that require your aid. Caidin will then pass you to Ouna as she needs your assistance. |
| 2 | Speak with Ouna near the Tree of Whispers then follow your objective marker to meet her in Scosglen. |
| 3 |  Speak to Ouna by the tree in Scosglen then enter and clear the Bleeding Roothold. Approach Ouna after defeating the dungeon boss to complete the objective. |

| The Crux of the Rot Guide | |

| 1 | Speak to Caidin near the Tree of Whispers then speak to Ouna to unlock the next Blistering Roothold. |
| 2 | Follow your objective marker to reach the Blistering Roothold in Kehjistan. |
| 3 | Clear the Blistering Roothold then speak to Caidin and obtain the Strange Talisman. |
| 4 |  Give the Strange Talisman to Caidin and complete Whispers in the Wind. |
| The Burden of Family Guide | |

| 1 | Speak to Gelena near the Tree of Whispers and interact with the ritual circle to perform the ritual. |
| 2 | Light the cauldrons in order: Ayh, Yew, then Oun. |
| 3 | Trace and connect the pentagram to proceed with the ritual. Keep in mind that skipping over the lines can create gaps. |
| 4 | Witness the Ritual and defeat all enemies. |
| 5 | Leave the ritual circle and find Caidin directly south of the tree. |
| 6 | Speak with Gelena to complete the chapter. Complete Whispers in the Wind. |
| Adrift in the Doldrums Guide | |

| 1 | Speak to Gelena by the Tree of Whispers waypoint and ask about Ouna. |
| 2 | Meet Gelena by Ouna's hideout located west of Zarbinzet in Hawezar. |
| 3 |  Destroy the shrouding charm found west of the hideout. |
| 4 | Investigate Ouna's hideout and survive the Headrotten attack. |
| 5 |  Find the source of the singing then speak to the head and Gelena to complete the chapter. |
| 6 | Complete Whispers in the Wind. |
| A Witch's Choice Guide | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Speak to Gelena by the Tree of Whispers to learn of Ouna's whereabouts. |
| 2 | Search for Caidin in the Wastes and speak to him. |
| 3 |  Destroy the two Shrouding Charms and enter the Hidden Ritual Site. |
| 4 | Attack the roots to reach Ouna and confront her. |
| 5 |  Kill all the Headrotten and defeat the Cunning Headless Husk. |
| 6 | Speak to Caidin and observe the Coven's conflict. |
| 7 | Speak with Ouna and Gelena to complete the quest. |
| A Witch's Choice Guide | |

| 1 |  Speak to Gelena at the Tree of Whispers. |
| 2 | Share your thoughts about Ouna's choice to Gelena. |
| 3 |  Find Ouna's grave to the left of the Tree of Whispers and read Caidin's letter. |
You can access the Season 7 Questline by completing the Epilogue from the game's main storyline. However, any Seasonal Character can immediately access the Season Journey and the Battle Pass.
Players who have access to Vessel of Hatred must first complete the prologue of the expansion to access the Season 7 questline.
How to Access Season 7 Questline
You can only access the Season 5 content by using a character from the Seasonal Realm. This means that you have to create a new Seasonal Character.
How to Create a Seasonal Character
Once you've completed the campaign on any of your characters, you are eligible to skip the entire campaign when creating new characters. This feature also carries over to new Seasonal Characters that you create, allowing you to immediately access the new content without playing through the main story.
Note that players who own the Vessel of Hated expansion can also choose to skip the entire campaign of the expansion.
