How to Get All Vampiric Powers

Complete The Season 2 Questline

Completing mission from the Season's questlines will allow you to obtain Vampiric Powers that you won't normally be able to obtain from unlocking powers through Potent Blood. Make sure to not neglect your seasonal questline to maximize the amount of benefits you can get from Season's Vampiric Powers!

Season 2 Questline Walkthrough

Progress the Hunter's Acclaim Board

The Hunter's Acclaim Board is a bounty/reputation feature exclusive to Season 2 where you can get Hunter's Acclaim Points by doing events in areas that are under the Blood Harvest. Doing these events will slowly rack up points which will allow you to redeem several rewards from the Hunter's Acclaim Board which includes rares, legendaries, and new Vampiric Powers!

How to Farm Hunter's Acclaim Points

Unlock and Roll New Powers Using Potent Blood

Potent Blood is the primary resource you'll spend to unlock and upgrade new and existing Vampiric Powers. All the powers you'll get will start at level 1 and upgrading them will make their effects stronger! Farming up Potent Blood is one of the more crucial things to farm up during Diablo 4's seasonal 2 content and we highly recommend stocking up on huge amounts of Potent Blood to be able to level up all the Vampiric Powers you can need for your builds!

Exclusive Powers to Diablo's Season 2 Content

Vampiric Powers are new blood-based powers that can be utilized by adventurers to combat the new terror plaguing the land of Sanctum in the Season 2 update. You can obtain and use these new skills and abilities by experiencing the new seasonal questline. In total, there are 22 Vampiric Powers to acquire!

Unlock the Vampiric Power Feature in the Season 2 Questline

To start obtaining Vampiric Powers, you'll first have to complete the main campaign either by actually progressing through it (which we do not recommend) or by skipping the campaign entirely from the menu. Once done, you'll have to complete the first seasonal quest Blood Money.

Season 2 Guide and All Season Mechanics

Vampiric Powers Max Level Caps at Level 3

Each Vampiric Power in the game has a max level cap of 3. Each of the powers has its own scaling but their experience requirement are all the same. This means that you'll need to spend the same amount of Potent Blood to upgrade both minor ranked powers and major ranked powers to level 3!

Vampiric Power Level EXP Required
Level 1 1
Level 2 5
Level 3 10

Every time you want to increase the experience point of one of the three random vampiric powers presented to you, you'll need to spend 25 Potent Bloods so in theory, if you have the best luck in the game, you will need to spend a minimum of 400 Potent Blood to level up a power to max level!

Reach the Pact Activation Cost from the Pacts Granted on your Armor

D4 Season of Blood - Pact Requirements
Vampiric Powers does not come for free. Even if you have unlocked the Vampiric Powers, you'll still need to have the vampire pacts to be able to equip the said powers. There are three types of Vampiric Pacts that your main armor slots can have which are Divinity, Eternity, and Ferocity.

All Armor (Head, Torso, Gloves, Pants, and Boots) in Season 2 have Pacts associated with them, as shown in the Pacts Granted section on the inventory screen. The total number of Pacts of each type on your equipped armor will determine how many Pacts you have available to activate Vampiric Powers.

All Armor Piece Slots for Vampire Pacts

These are the Maximum number of Pacts you can have in the 5 armor slots that can have pacts in them, for a maximum total of 20 Pacts. You also have to consider that the Major Vampiric Powers consume 6 slots, with 5 equippable powers at a time, so it won't be possible to equip five powers requiring 6 slots at a time; you must use a balance of Major and Minor powers.

Armor Piece Maximum Pact Slot
Head 3
Torso 5
Gloves 5
Pants 4
Boots 3
Total 20

Use Standalone Pacts and Cleansing Acid to Customize Armor Pacts

There are ways to customize the Pacts through the use of Standalone Pacts and Cleansing Acids. You can remove certain Pacts that are not suited to your build using the Cleansing Acids and replace them with specific Standalone Pacts. These items can be obtained in numerous ways, such as through the Blood Harvest Season event, Season Journey, Opulent Coffins, and the new seasonal questline.

How to Equip Vampiric Powers

Equip from your Seasonal Tab in the Inventory

In this season, there is a new unique feature appearing in your Character Tab called the Sanguine Circle. In this circle, you will find a total of 5 slots wherein you can place Vampiric Powers in order to equip and activate them. You can access the Sanguine Circle from your seasonal tab in the inventory.

Unlock the Seasonal Tab by Completing the First Season Quest

The Seasonal Tab will be initially greyed out if you have just started your seasonal character. To unlock the Seasonal tab on your inventory, you have to complete the Blood Money questline first which is the first seasonal quest. To start the quest, you'll have to complete or skip the main campaign quest first and proceed to Vasily's Reach in Ked Bardu.
