Diablo 4's Season 7 or Season of Witchcraft will be released on January 21, 2025. Read on to learn all the details regarding the release of the Season of Witchcraft update and all other content that will be added to the game.

The Season of Witchcraft formally reintroduces the seasonal mechanic through power-ups such as Witchcraft Powers and Occult Gems. These power ups can be obtained by participating in the new seasonal activity, Headhunts, which is aligned to the the bounties for the Tree of Whispers.
The Season of Witchcraft aslo introduces the Ancestral Collection reward for turning whisper bounties. Opening this cache guarantees at least one Ancestral item.
New Uniques, Aspects, and Runes will also be introduced in Season 7. Most of these items, along with Witchcraft Powers and Occult Gems, open new build setups and synergies.
The Armory will also be introduced in Season 7, allowing players to save, load, and rename their build loadouts. This makes it easier for players to swap builds more efficiently compared to previous seasons.
Changes have also been made to the Class Questline for specialization. Class Quest progression is now account-bound, meaning that players only need to complete it once per class in one account and they'll be able to access the class specialization once they reach the required level.
