Blood Bishop is the boss in Sanguine Chapel dungeon in Diablo 4 (D4). Learn everything you need to know to defeat him, such as his attack patterns, rewards, and where to find him down below!

| 1 | Volley Blood Bishop conjures a volley of projectiles that all fly in the player's direction. |
| 2 | Blood Boils Blood Bishop thrusts his tentacles into the ground and summons 4 boils that explode after a set amount of time. |
| 3 | Grab Blood Bishop extends both his tentacles in an attempt to grab the player. If successful, this attack deals a significant amount of damage and heals the Blood Bishop for the amount of damage dealt. |
The Blood Bishop's attacks are relatively easy to telegraph due to their long wind-up animations. Focus on avoiding attacks as best you can to conserve HP potions and slowly whittle down his HP.
The most punishing attack in the Blood Bishop's arsenal is his Grab attack. Not only does it deal a large amount of damage, it also heals the Blood Bishop for a significant amount. Avoid this attack at all costs.
Focus on destroying the Blood Boils whenever the Bishop summons them as this makes the fight much more manageable.
Skills such as the Rogue's Barrage (As seen in the video) are effective countermeasures as they deal with all the boils simultaneously.
Defeating Blood Bishop is a pre-requisite to completing the Blood Sermon side quest. Additionally, Blood Bishop will drop gold and equipment of varying rarities.

You can find the Blood Bishop within the Sanguine Chapel dungeon, which unlocks during the events of the Blood Sermon Side Quest.
