How to Beat Lord Zir

Lord Zir Tips and Strategies

Keep Lord Zir's Back Into a Corner

One of Lord Zir's most dangerous mechanics is the Blood Pools he summons, which can slow and poison you as you pass through them. These Blood Pools can also fire dangerous projectiles in sync with Lord Zir's attacks.

To minimize these, lure and position Lord Zir in a way that his back is close to a corner so that most of the Blood Pools will be concentrated in a single area.

Prioritize Blood Seekers

In the course of the fight, Lord Zir will summon a variety of deadly Blood Seekers. Prioritize dealing with these Blood Seekers as they have the potential to Crowd Control you or cast a surprising blow that can cause you to die.

The trick here is to stay as close to Lord Zir as possible as he summons the Blood Seekers close to him. If you are able to maintain their positions, you can damage Lord Zir and the Blood Seekers with your attacks all together.

Bait Out His Attacks

Some of Lord Zir's attacks have a certain delay before the delivery, like his Wing Flap move and the Blood Orbs he summons.

You can dodge them by recognizing the moment where the attack stops tailing your character, which is the tell that he is about to deliver the attack. Lure the attacks into a corner and dodge as the tracking animation stops.

Lord Zir Attack Patterns

Blood Swipe

Lord Zir coats his hands with blood to form a sythe and uses it to deal a quick and deadly swipe. This attack has a medium range, which could be difficult to dodge at times.

Blood Pools

Lord Zir summons multiple Blood Pools that can combine together to create even bigger Blood Pools, which can slow and poison you as you pass through.

Furthermore, these Blood Pools can syncronize with Lord Zir's other attacks and release projectiles that can deal significant damage and make you Vulnerable.

Wing Flap

Eventually, Lord Zir flies toward a corner and winds his wings up for a strong wind attack that will deal damage and knock adventurers back. Avoid this attack by baiting it into another corner and dodging it at the last second.

Summoning Blood Seekers

At some point, Lord Zir will summon Blood Seekers during the fight to aid him in the fight. These Blood Seekers can prove to be difficult to deal with as they can Crowd Control you and deal significant damage to boot.

They also have remarkable defense and can move swiftly due to their arsenal of skills, which are similar to those of an adventurer.

Blood Orbs

Lord Zir creates Blood Orbs that move freely across the arena. The Blood Orbs can splatter and spawn waves of blood that can poison you, similar to Blood Pools. These orbs cannot be targeted and will remain indefinitely in the arena.
