Vulnerable is an Offensive Status ailment that causes enemies to take additional damage in Diablo 4 (D4). Read on to find out more about Vulnerable and how to check your Vulnerable Damage Bonus stat.

What Does Vulnerable Do?

Status Ailment that Causes Extra Damage

Vulnerable is a status ailment that causes the sufferer to receive extra damage while under this effect, starting at a base of 20%. This is a temporary ailment that can be caused by certain class Skills, Aspects and randomly rolled stats on Gear.

Vulnerable Enemies

Vulnerable can affect both the player and enemies, though the effect appears differently for each. In both cases, the word Vulnerable will appear on screen briefly. When the player causes Vulnerable damage, enemies affected by it will have their health bar highlighted in purple. On the other hand, when taking Vulnerable damage, the player's health orb will start to crack.

View Vulnerable Damage in Stats & Materials Menu

Vulnerable Damage Bonus Menu

To view how much Vulnerable Damage you currently cause to enemies, open up the Stats & Materials menu from the Character screen. From here, scroll down under Offensive to Vulnerable Damage Bonus for a breakdown of the % your current build causes, as well as the general source of your Vulnerable damage. You can also view which Gear is providing Vulnerable effects by viewing the individual pieces.
