The Kurast Undercity is a priority quest in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred (D4) that unlocks the Undercity mechanic. See how to unlock the The Kurast Undercity quest, a list of quest objectives, rewards, and a complete walkthrough.

The Kurast Undercity quest is automatically unlocked after completing the Reunion campaign quest. Speak to Ormus in the Council Chambers in Kurast Reaches to start the quest.

 After starting the quest, follow the quest marker into the Undercity. Fight your way through the mobs as you head deeper inside until you find Sihek. |
| 2 |
 Backtrack all the way to the starting point to help Sihek escape the Undercity. Speak to him again outside in Upper Kurast. |
| 3 |
 Follow the quest marker to the southwest and speak with Sihek again. An entrance to the Abandoned Home will appear so head inside to investigate. |

Follow the quest marker to the southwest and speak with Sihek again. An entrance to the Abandoned Home will appear so head inside to investigate. |

 Once all the enemies inside are defeated, inspect the items marked and return to Sihek to tell him your findings. |

 Sihek will ask you to visit the defaced shrine. Proceed to the marked location and defeat the Zakarum ghosts. When you return to Sihek, you'll be able to explore the Ziggurat District of the Undercity. |

 Interact with the Spirit Brazier across Sihek and open a portal. You'll have a limited amount of time to go through all floors and reach the end. Note that some elites will extend the timer when defeated! |

 You'll eventually reach an Undercity Portal that will lead you to the district boss. Enter the portal and defeat Alia, Kurast's End. There is no timer to race against for this encounter. After the fight, collect your spoils and return to Sihek. |
| Defeat Yoche in the Temple District | |

 Sihek will ask you to find Golden Snakes and collect their blood. Collect 10 of them by killing Golden Snakes in the designated area then enter Ennead's Folly . |

 Clear the area of enemies and pick up the Snake Fang Dagger from the moss-covered chest. Report back to Sihek to unlock the Temple District. |

 Enter the Temple District via the Spirit Brazier and defeat Yoche, the Golden. Similar to the previous Ziggurat District run, you have limited time to reach the boss. Return to Sihek after the boss fight. |
| Defeat Longtooth in the Cave District | |

 Follow Sihek around town and enter the Spiritborn Sanctum. Defeat the Infected Lacuni Scout and speak with Sihek again. |

 Head to the quest area and collect 10 Insect Husks from Afflicted Lacuni. Afterwards, search the Abandoned Lacuni Camp to the north. Return to Sihek to unlock the Cave District. |

By now, you should be familiar with the drill. Head to the Spirit Brazier, enter the Cave District, and reach the district boss before time runs out. Defeat Longtooth, the Wretched and find Sihek in the Council Chambers to complete this quest and unlock Spirit Brazier Tributes. |
Completing The Kurast Undercity priority quest unlocks the Undercity mechanic where you must reach the end of the district before the timer runs out.
A boss awaits at the end and you can use Spirit Brazier Tributes to improve the rewards upon completion.
