Skulls are a type of Gem in Diablo 4 (Diablo IV). Read on to learn its effects, how to get Skull gems, and all Skull gem upgrades.

Players can find Skulls and other related gems as drops by defeating any of the enemies found in the game. Do note that the quality of gems that drop will depend on your current level and World Tier.
In addition to enemy drops, Skulls can also be found as drops when opening Chests across Sanctuary. Event-related chests will have a higher chance of dropping gems, so make sure to participate in any you come across in the open world, as well as inside cellars and dungeons!
To get better quality Skulls, you will need to bring the required Gems and gold to the Jeweler for gem crafting. However, do note that the gold cost to craft and combine gems rises significantly as you move up from tier to tier.
