Diablo 4 Server Slam - Release Date Announcement

Players wanting another dose of Diablo IV can play during the Server Slam event from May 12 to May 14 and will want to keep the beta files on their PC or console. This will make it so that you will only need to download an update, as opposed to re-downloading all of the beta files.

Uninstall the Beta to Free Up Storage

If you aren't interested in participating in the Diablo 4 Server Slam, you can uninstall the beta to free up storage space from your computer or console. The full release of the game in June will be a separate download, so saving the beta files will not be of any benefit to you.

Uninstalling the Beta Will Not Affect Beta Rewards

Uninstall Diablo 4 - Diablo 4

Since the Diablo 4 Open Beta has ended, you can now safely uninstall the beta without affecting your beta rewards. If you have met the requirements for the rewards during the beta period, then it will automatically carry over to the full game!

The Beta Will Not Carry Over to the Full Game

Blizzard has stated that the Diablo 4 Open Beta will not carry over to the full game. This means that all the progress, characters, and even game files will not be transferred over to the actual game, and you will have to reinstall Diablo 4 when it releases.

Additionally, there are no plans for another beta period for Diablo 4 as of writing. Check the link down below for updates as this can change depending if Blizzard announces another beta between April and June.
