Diablo 4 - What to Inscribe into the Wood.png

Upon entering Kyovashad in Diablo 4 (D4), you'll have to inscribe Fear, Anger, Pride or Greed into the Holy Cedar wood tablets as part of a Rite of Passage. Find out if there is any difference between the options, and which you should choose.

What to Inscribe into the Wood

Doesn't Make a Difference

During the Rite of Passage main quest, you'll have the option to inscribe one of the following into a Holy Cedar wood tablet and cast it into the fire before entering the settlement of Kyovashad.

  • Fear
  • Anger
  • Pride
  • Greed
  • Scribbles

No matter what you choose, you'll be able to enter Kyovashad and receive 300 Gold and 880 Experience regardless. If you have found any differences from a specific inscription, be sure to let us know in the comments!

Possible to Inscribe More than One Tablet

After you've made an inscription, you can return to the fire and get another tablet to carve, so you're able to choose multiple options if you so choose. However, this also doesn't seem to have any specific effect.
