To give thanks at a shrine and receive a random buff, players will first need to read the inscription on the statue. The word spelled in capital letters will be your clue as to which emote you will need to use.
Once you've read the inscription, stand inside the purple circle on the ground and use the correct emote. If done correctly, the statue will light up and you will receive a random buff.
| Clue | Reward |
|---|---|
| EMBOLDEN | A spirit of a small, blue fox will start following you around for a given duration of time. |
| ATONE | Grants a temporary Unstoppable buff. |
| BID FAREWELL | Grants a temporary Movement Speed boost |
| PROVOKE | Seven potion bottles will appear around the player, allowing them to fully refill their Potions. |
| GIVE AID | Generates a barrier temporarily. |
| GREET | Temporarily become invisible. |
| GRATITUDE | Killing enemies drops additional gold for a short time. |
This table of rewards is under construction. Stay tuned as we update it with more emote shrine rewards during launch!
Shrine spawns are not fixed and are not marked on the map. They can appear at different areas and their spawn locations will vary between your playthroughs. Unlike regular shrines, these statues offer buffs that are geared towards exploration rather than combat.
While spawns are random, shrines can technically be reset by resetting your current world's instance. This can be done by either entering and leaving a Cellar or Dungeon. However, do note that this requires one to be near a shrine for it to work.
