This leveling guide provides the fastest ways to level up and farm EXP in Diablo 4 (D4) Season 10. Learn about the best ways, tips, and strategies to speed up your leveling from 1-60, and into higher difficulties during the Infernal Hordes update!

Season 10 Leveling Guide (Level 1-30)

1. Complete the Vessel of Hatred Campaign (Optional)
Begin the leveling process for this season by completing the Vessel of Hatred Campaign. Its guided, straightforward nature makes it a reliable way to start the season while providing a significant amount of experience.
You can reach up to level 50+ solely by finishing the campaign, making it worth doing.
2. Start the Seasonal Quest
Start the seasonal questline to get a good amount of experience and unlock Chaos Perks, the current seasonal mechanic. These perks are quite strong and build-defining, and they can be utilized during leveling thanks to the bonuses they provide.

3. Start Doing Helltide Runs
Doing Helltides is one of the best activities to farm due to the high mob density. It also provides good progression towards the seasonal questline and season journey, as it is the best way to farm Viz Jaq'taar reputation.
The appearance of Helltides always results in the generation of Chaos Rifts, which in turn offer substantial bonuses.
4. Whispers of the Dead Quests
Completing Whispers of the Dead quests by participating in Helltides to get Grim Favors. Be sure to turn in your Grim Favors at the nearby town or Tree of Whispers once you reach ten, as that is the maximum amount that you can carry.

5. Do the Early Chapters of the Season Journey
Completing chapters in the Season Journey provides numerous rewards, as well as Smoldering Ashes. You can use these to purchase blessings, which increase the amount of rewards or materials you receive from the associated activity. This makes runs with blessings activated much more efficient.
6. Clear Nightmare Dungeons
You can do Nightmare Dungeons to obtain the Legendary Aspects you need for your leveling build. They are not the most efficient activity, but they are worth doing if you manage to obtain Nightmare Sigils with good affixes.
As of Season 10, nightmare Dungeon Sigils can also have a Chaos Rift affix. This affix guarantees that Chaos Rifts will spawn. You can use these rifts to earn more loot and experience.

Nightmare Dungeons can now have the Chaos Rift affix, which guarantees that Chaos Rifts will spawn in the dungeon. This makes Nightmare Dungeons much more desirable for farming due to the increased loot and experience. Other sigils with affixes, such as Forgotten Wisdom, can still be used to streamline the leveling process.
7. Do Kurast Runs With Tribute of Growth
Completing Kurast runs with the Tribute of Growth provides a significant bonus to the experience you already receive for clearing the dungeon.
While they are not always available, Tribute of Growths are worth running for just for the experience bonus, so consider this option if you manage to get some during your playthrough.
8. Complete Horadric Strongrooms
Horadric Strongrooms provide a significant XP boost because there are plenty of enemies to defeat, as well as an empowered elite that appears at the end. Complete these rooms whenever you can during your Nightmare Dungeon runs and try to maximize your Horadric Attunement to increase your rewards.
9. Clear Strongholds
Although clearing strongholds are no longer a priority, it's worth clearing the stronghold in Tul Dura in the Scosglen region and the one in the Onyx Watchtower in the Dry Steppes, as they provide necessary waypoints for certain Helltide spawns.
Completing a Stronghold also provides a decent amount of experience, as well as extra Viz-Jaq'taar reputation. Clearing Strongholds aid in the leveling process and help you progress through the seasonal questline.

1. Complete the Seasonal Seasonal Questline
It's highly recommended to progress through the Seasonal Questline by completing Helltides to unlock rewards as well as additional chaos perks. The buffs that they provide a noticeable power spike during the leveling process.
2. Run Fleeting Hordes
Participating in Fleeting Hordes provides a good amount of experience, and you can choose bonus experience as a reward at the end of a run. Although you are limited by the number of Fleeting Hordes compasses you find, it is still worth doing to level up before reaching Torment I.
3. Continue Farming Dungeons and Helltides
Continue farming in Nightmare Dungeons when you get nightmare sigils with good affixes, which you can obtain during your Helltide Runs.
4. Do Kurast Undercity Runs
If you can clear them efficiently, you can do Kurast Undercity runs on a consistent basis. It is preferable to do so with a good tribute to maximize efficiency. Tributes also allow you to farm a specific Legendary Aspect if you need it for your leveling build.

1. Run the Pit of Artificers
Do Pits as soon as you're strong enough to increase your Glyph levels, as well as for the extra experience. You will need to run the Pit to reach higher torment levels, so do the highest level once you're able to increase the rewards you get for all activities you do.

2. Run Infernal Hordes
Infernal Hordes provide plenty of rewards, as you can consistently get the chance to obtain Chaos Armor when you face Bartuc.
