Clear the Dark Citadel

Citadel Coins are exclusively obtained by clearing the three different wing sections and the final boss of the citadel. The weekly Citadel Challenger's Cache which you obtain by completing all three wings also rewards you with Citadel Coins along with other rewards.

As the Dark Citadel is a multiplayer-exclusive content, it's recommended to use the Party Finder to find more players to clear the citadel with.

Citadel Coins are used to purchase a variety of items from the Dark Citadel Vendor, including consumables, caches, and cosmetic items. The consumables available at the Dark Citadel Vendor are designed to support your efforts in clearing the Citadel, While the caches are ideal to purchase when you don’t need to temper any specific gear.

If you fancy a new look for your weapon, the Dark Citadel Vendor also offers various cosmetic items that can be unlocked for transmog. These items are one-use consumables that unlock the cosmetic item as a transmog option in your wardrobe.

The Scroll of Grave Oil and the Incense of Khazra Power are the best consumables to buy from the Citadel Vendor. The Scroll of Grave Oil allows you to revive alone without thinking twice about durability loss, while the Incense of Khazra Power grants additions to all stats, greatly increasing the overall power of any build.

Do not purchase the Scroll of Restoration from the Citadel Vendor as it would be a waste of your coins. To farm the Scroll of Restoration, it's best to simply complete an Infernal Horde and open the Spoils of Greater Equipment.

As for the Caches, the Dark Citadel Crafting Cache is best due to the game's current nature of limited loot drops of Iron Chunks and Rawhide.
