Progress Through the Seasonal Questline

The first thing you'd want to do to start checking off chapter objectives is to start progressing through the new seasonal questline. This is a great starting goal since you'll be able to complete numerous challenges that tie in with the quest objectives while leveling up.

Don't Ignore Gathering Nodes

While completing the new seasonal questline, do not ignore the gathering nodes you find along the way. Gathering any of these will be extremely beneficial, as you'll need materials to upgrade your Potion to cross out related chapter objectives and increase your survivability.

How to Upgrade the Healing Potion

Complete 6 Out of 8 Objectives

For the first chapter, you only need to complete 6 out of the 8 objectives in order to claim the journey rewards. Since this is the easiest chapter, you can aim to finish whichever objective you desire since you'll most likely finish them as you progress through the seasonal questline.

Chapter 2 Objectives

Clear a Stronghold Complete 4 Cellars Upgrade your Potion to Minor at the Alchemist Unlock 6 Aspects in the Codex of Power, such as through completing Dungeons Open a Silent Chest, found randomly in Sanctuary, with a Whispering Key from the Purveyor of Curiosities Acquire 4 Governing Stones, available after completing or skipping the Campaign Craft an Uncertain Seneschal Stone Cache at the Jeweler Complete 3 World Events with Mastery

Participate in Arcane Tremors

Arcane Tremors are new areas of interest where you'll be able to encounter Construct enemies and farm new seasonal materials such as Elemental Cores, Shattered Stones, and Pearls of Warding.

Aside from having multiple chapter objectives tied to these areas, these are great farming spots to level up quickly, so make sure that you participate in them.

Begin Clearing Dungeons and Strongholds

As you progress through the new seasonal questline, you'll reach a point that will require you to level up before pressing on. This is the perfect time to start clearing out Dungeon and Strongholds for chapter objectives and unlocking relevant Aspects for the build you're aiming for.

Complete 6 Out of 8 Objectives

For the second chapter, you only need to complete 6 out of 8 objectives to claim the journey rewards. We recommend skipping the objectives related to Cellars and Silent Chest, since these two are tricky to find and not necessary for progression.

Unlock 13 Aspects in the Codex of Power, such as through completing Dungeons Clear 3 Stronghold Obtain 10 Caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers Defeat Malphas, Keeper of the Vault, available after completing or skipping the Campaign Defeat 50 Elite Constructions, available after completing or skipping the Campaign Defeat 9 Vault Heralds summoned at the Braziers, available after completing or skipping the Campaign Acquire 14 Tuning Stones, available after completing or skipping the Campaign Upgrade your Potion to Light at the Alchemist Acquire Zoltun's Warding by spending a Pearl of Warding at any Statue of Zoltun Kulle, available after completing or skipping the Campaign Reach Level 35 Defeat 100 Monsters while Bloodmarked in Hostile areas

Finish the New Seasonal Questline

At this point, your primary focus should be completing the new seasonal questline to cross out multiple chapter objectives and permanently unlock Vaults. It's ideal to finish this before proceeding to higher World Tiers so that you can focus on other activities you'll unlock ahead.

Complete 9 Out of 11 Objectives

For the third chapter, you only need to complete 9 out of 11 objectives to claim the journey rewards. We recommend skipping the objectives related to Hostile areas and Strongholds because you'll be more efficient aiming for the other objectives since they are closely related to each other and can be accomplished simultaneously.

Prepare for the First Capstone Dungeon

While crossing out your journey objectives, make sure that you're efficiently working on them by targeting areas of interest that will allow you to build your character in preparation for higher World Tiers.

Ideally, you'd want to reach at least Level 40 and above with a complete Legendary set before heading on to the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon.

Chapter 4 Objectives

Purify 1,000 Seeds of Hatred obtained in Hostile areas at an Altar of Extraction Defeat a World Boss Complete a Legion Event Complete 10 Vaults Unlock 10 Wardwoven Chests by preserving Zoltun's Warding Defeat 30 Vault Heralds summoned at the Braziers Complete a Nightmare Vault Craft a Vault Sigil at the Occultist Defeat Echo of Varshan in World Tier 3, summoned beneath the Tree of Whispers with materials from World Tier 3 Whisper Caches Obtain 20 Caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers Reach Level 55

Reach World Tier 3

Some of the objectives for this chapter will require you to reach World Tier 3 in order to accomplish them. It's best to get ahead and work on the other objectives in World Tier 3 all together to get a better and faster overall progression.

Do note that there would be a a huge power spike transitioning to higher World Tiers, so make sure that you have a working build that you're comfortable with.

Take on Nightmare Vaults

One of the objectives in this chapter would require you to complete a certain number of Vaults. Rather than aiming for normal ones, it's best to start grinding Nightmare Vaults since these will count towards the progression. Not only will this count towards other objectives in later chapters, but this will also give you more XP and loot.

How to Unlock Nightmare Vaults

Complete 9 Out of 11 Objectives

For the fourth chapter, you'll only need to complete 9 out of the 11 objectives to claim the journey rewards. We recommend skipping the objectives related to Seeds of Hatred and Whisper Caches since the former would require you to enter a PVP zone and the latter is a bit long to achieve.

Alternate Helltides and Nightmare Vaults

Almost all of the objectives in this chapter are related to the Helltide and Nightmare Vaults so you must prioritize these activities over others. There are no downside in focusing in these events since they're actually the most rewarding ones you can do that will let you build and level up your character early on.

Complete 9 Out of 11 Objectives

For the fifth chapter, you'll only need to complete 9 out of 11 objectives to claim the journey rewards. We recommend skipping the objectives related to Grigoire and Zoltun Kulle's journal entries since the former would require you to reach World Tier 4 and the latter involves RNG.

Prepare for the Second Capstone Dungeon

While completing these season journey chapters, it's best to prepare for the Fallen Temple capstone dungeon since this will be required to proceed with the following chapters.

Reach World Tier 4

Although most of these objectives can be done in World Tier 3, you won't be able to complete the chapter without transitioning to World TIer 4, so it's best to do so early to get the most out of your progression.

Do note that there would be a huge power spike transitioning to higher World Tiers, so make sure that you have a working build that you're comfortable with.

Complete 8 Out of 10 Objectives

For the sixth chapter, you'll only need to complete 8 out of 10 objectives to claim the journey rewards. We recommend holding off the objectives related to Seeds of Hatred and Leveling to 90 since the former would require you to enter a PVP zone and the latter takes a bit long to achieve.

The last chapter of the season journey is difficult to achieve without a good endgame build to take you through. Make sure that you're working towards finalizing your end game build to complete the challenges listed in this chapter.

For the seventh chapter, you'll only need to complete 9 out of 11 objectives to claim the journey rewards. We recommend holding off the objectives related to Tier 90 Nightmare Vault and Echo of Lilith since both are pinnacle content and would require you have a maxed out build in order to complete.

How to Claim Journey Rewards

Complete a Number of Objectives Within a Chapter

To claim Seasonal Journey Rewards, you must complete a specific number of objectives per chapter. Players are not required to finish all the objectives in each chapter, so you can handpick tasks that you would like to accomplish.

After completing enough objectives, you may claim your rewards through the Season Journey Menu under the Season Tab.
