How to Unlock Spirit Boons

Complete Spirits of the Lost Grove at Level 15

Diablo IV - Lost Grove Location

After reaching level 15, you can gain access and track your class-specific quest “Spirits of the Lost Grove” which is located in Scosglen.

Reclaiming Túr Dúlra

Diablo IV - Defeat Druid Spirits

You'll arrive in Túr Dúlra to discover that the place has been corrupted and turned into a stronghold. Free the druid spirits to rid the stronghold of the curse.

Freeing Gathlen

Diablo IV - Talk to Gathlen

After restoring Túr Dúlra, find the altar of Gathlen, the Spirit Lord, and communicate with him to discover the horrible fate he has suffered. Free him from this torment and return his skull to Túr Dúlra.

After completing the quest, you can go to Túr Dúlra and turn in your Druidic Spirit Offerings to attune to one of the spirits and unlock boons.

How Spirit Boons Work

Diablo IV - Wolf Spirit Boons

Spirit Boons are Druid specific passives that enhances abilities and skills of the class while also providing the Druid its own class identity. There are 4 spirits which are Deer, Eagle, Snake, and Wolf spirits. Each of these spirits provide different Spirit Boons or passive bonuses that can also benefit party members, and upgrading them also increases the boon's effectivity.

The Snake Spirit specifically requires 100 Druidic Offerings in order to unlock all 4 of its boons, so make sure that you have enough by killing mobs!

Deer Spirit Boons

Diablo 4 - Deer Spirit Boons

Deer Spirit boons provides Druid with utility related passive bonuses such as reduced duration of control impairing effects, gaining maximum spirit, and damage reduction from Elites when fully upgraded.

Eagle Spirit Boons

Diablo 4 - Eagle Spirit Boons

Eagle Spirit boons provide damage or offensive passive bonuses for Druid such as increased Critical Strike Chance and Damage, increased maximum life, and increased Attack Speed when fully upgraded.

Wolf Spirit Boons

Diablo 4 - Wolf Spirit Boons

Wolf Spirit boons provide support and utility bonuses for you and your party members. When fully upgraded, it provides a chance to reset the cooldown of your companion's skills, increased chance to restore 10 Spirit, increase Fortify effect when you use a defensive skill, and extend the duration of your Ultimate Skills.

Snake Spirit Boons

Diablo 4 - Snake Spirit Boons

Snake Spirit boons aim to enhance the effectiveness of your chosen build for Druid. It provides bonuses that enhance the effectiveness of elemental related skills and abilities. Bonuses such as Nature Skills getting a chance to reduce the cooldown of your Ultimate Skill by 2 seconds, Critical Strikes with Shapeshifting Skills heals you.

Spirit Boons are Limited to One Per Animal, Two if Bonded

You can only equip one boon per spirit animal at the beginning. However, maxing out every spirit animal will allow you to bond with one of them and choose a second boon within the same category. This will allow you to have a total of 5 activated boons at all time.

Turn Druidic Spirit Offerings in Túr Dúlra

Druidic Spirit Offering - Diablo 4

Reaching level 15 allows players to farm Druidic Spirit Offerings from monsters regardless if they have completed the class-specific quest. Druidic Spirit Offerings are currencies used to attune to the spirits and unlock their boons.

It costs 400 total Spirit Offerings to max out the levels of all the animals, 100 for each animal
