Diablo 4 - Can You Change Classes

Players will not be able to change classes once the character is created in Diablo 4 (D4). However, you will still be able to pick between 5 different classes once the game launches. Read on to learn more about changing your class and how to try out the other classes in the game.

You Cannot Change Classes in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 - Cannot Change Class

As with previous titles, you will not be able to change classes after you have created your character. The choice will be final, locking you to a single class for the entire game once you leve the character creation screen.

Five Different Classes to Choose From on Launch

Diablo 4 - Choose Between Five Classes

Diablo 4 will feature five (5) unique classes to choose from on launch day. Pick between the Barbarian, Rogue, Sorcerer, Druid, or Necromancer when you first start your journey in Sanctuary.

A 6th New Class is Teased During Blizzon 2023

During the Blizzcon 2023, a new class has been teased to be added to the game once the game's expansion, Vessel of Hatred launches! It's still unknown what the 6th class will be but it will be a new addition to the original 5 class choices in the game in the future.

Diablo 4 - Create a New Character

The only way to try out new classes is by creating a new character. However, do note that starting a new character will be much easier than previous titles due to the account-wide rewards of the Renown System and the shared stat bonuses given by the Altars of Lilith.
