In Diablo 4 (D4), Treasure Goblins are rare enemies that drop valuable loot and can be hunted in Cellars, Dungeons, and the open world. See the different ways of hunting Treasure Goblins, as well as the rewards they drop!
The best way to find Treasure Goblins is out in the open world. Instead of taking the nearest Waypoint to your destination, consider going there on your mount or by foot to increase the chances of seeing a Treasure Goblin.

Treasure Goblins can also spawn inside Dungeons and in some extremely rare cases, three of them inside Cellars. However, they appear less frequently here compared to the open world.
Always keep an eye on the minimap as Treasure Goblins will show up when they are nearby. They also have a distinct audio cue when they are close so you can prepare your Skills before engaging.
The most notable drop from Treasure Goblins are Mount Armors. They have a low drop rate making them extremely rare.
Treasure Goblins also have a high chance to drop Legendary rarity gear, making them worth seeking out. They can also potentially drop multiple Legendary items which may prove useful if you are looking for extractable Legendary Aspects.
Treasure Goblins can also drop Gems that grant certain bonuses when socketed into equipment. These Gems can be upgraded and unsocketed at the Occultist.
Less notable drops from Treasure Goblins are small amounts of Gold, as well as Rare and Magic rarity items. It is highly likely that you will sell these items for Gold or salvage them at the Blacksmith for materials.
