Diablo 4 - Is There WASD Movement

There is currently no option to use WASD movement for the PC version of Diablo 4 (D4). Read on to learn more about the movement settings available for mouse and keyboard players during the Open Beta weekend!

No WASD Movement Option in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 - Movement Settings

Unlike Diablo Immortal, the Diablo 4 Open Beta will not support WASD movement for PC players. While WASD movement may become a feature that's added later on, the current build only features movement via the Left Mouse Button (LMB). By default, LMB functions as your character's movement, primary attack, and interact button throughout the game.

Note: It is possible to stop combining move, interact, and primary attack under LMB via the settings menu. However, the default button for movement will still be LMB after un-ticking the Combine option.

Controller Supports Directional Movement Using Analog Sticks

As an alternative, players looking for directional inputs can swap to a controller on PC. This will allow you to move around while keeping your primary attack and interact buttons separate from movement. The change is particularly noticeable when fighting large enemies like Ashava the Pestilent as movement is much more intuitive and controlled compared to LMB inputs.
