Assault Scenarios Stages and Unlock Dates

Scenario 1 - Power Algorithm

Leadership Skill	Sweeping Whirldwind: The wild winds converge, drawing in opponents within a certain radius for 6s and dealing Anemo DMG. 45s CD. Has 2 initial usages.

Deply AoE Units

The Power Algorithm is the first stage of the Assault Scenario. This stage is more of a tutorial stage, with six distinct units to deploy and one skill to choose from.

The enemies for this round are largely made of Team unit types so try to deploy as many AoE units as you can to counter them. If your units are still on cooldown, use your skill to keep enemies in place while damaging them!

Scenario 2 - Outflank and Encircle

Leadership Skill	Blazing Breakthrough: Unleashes flames that deal Pyro DMG to opponents and lower their DEF. 45s CD. Has 2 initial usages.

Bring Team Units

Outflank and Encircle is the second stage of the Assault Scenario, and the enemy unit is made out of Single Target types, so try to put together your unit around Team types!

The enemy in this stage move slowly, allowing you to easily spam and deploy your units to eliminate the opponents. Try to deploy as many cryo units as possible because the Hydro Mechanism allows you to easily freeze the enemy!

Scenario 3 - Saturation Fire Theory

Leadership Skill	Blazing Breakthrough: Unleashes flames that deal Pyro DMG to opponents and lower their DEF. 45s CD. Has 2 initial usages.

Bring Single Target Units and Cryo Units

For the third stage of Assault Scenarios, Saturation Fire Theory, form a party centered on Single Target units because the enemy units are composed of AoE!

If a Hydro Mimic arrives, you can use a cryo unit to freeze it so you can quickly eliminate it. If a Ruin Guard arrives, use your Leadership Skill to reduce its defense.

Scenario 4 - Contested River Crossings

Leadership Skill	Momentous Wave: Attack your opponents with billowing waves, dealing AoE Hydro DMG, and causing nearby allied units to recover health over the next 2.5s.

Prioritize Capturing the Flag

For the fourth level of Assault Scenarios, Contested River Crossings, prioritize capturing both flags first; this will give you more room to deploy and make it much easier to take over the opponent's mechanisms.

Deploying Cryo units will also benefit you at this stage, as they can prevent enemies from crossing the river to come to your side!

Scenario 5 - Maneuver, Maneuver, and More Maneuver

Deploy Ranged Units and Ruin Guards

The opposing units in the fifth stage consist mainly of Fying units, so make sure you have ranged units to take them down. Ruin Guards are especially useful in this round because they will prioritize taking down mechanisms.

Scenario 6 - Tactical Reserves

Utilize the Leadership Skill to Manage the Slimes

The main challenge in the sixth stage of the Asault Scenario, Tactical Reserves, is the continuous swarm of Pyro and Electro Slime.

Bring an Anemo unit to deal with them by swirling them, or use the Leadership Skill when your unit is on cooldown.

Scenario 7 - Crushing Pincer Maneuver

Prioritize the Stronghold Mechanisms

Prioritizing the Mechanisms first will help you win the seventh and final level of the Assault Scenario. The three mechanisms are positioned rather widely apart, so it might take some time to bring them down.

Ensure that your Ruin Guard is deployed in the opposite direction of the approaching enemies to minimize damage when it reaches the mechanisms. Your Leadership Skill can also be used to prolong the life of the Ruin Guard.

How to Play Assault Scenarios

Select Six Combat Units

Before entering each stage, you must organize a unit of six combatants that will take on the challenge. Keep the Suppression Rules in mind and bring units that will give you an advantage over the enemy.

Choose the Best Leadership Skill

Aside from setting up your units, you can choose a skill to use during the challenge. Only you can use this skill by tapping the Elemental Skill button while on the field. Make sure to read the skill description and select the best fit for the scenario.

Destroy Stronghold Mechanisms

The main goal in the Assault Scenario is to destroy and take over the enemy's Stronghold Mechanisms!

Mechanisms will Switch to the Opposing Side if they are Destroyed

After you destroy an enemy's Stronghold Mechanisms, it will reset and switch to your side. It will also expand your deployment area, giving you additional room to deploy your units!

Deploy Combat Units to Defeat all Enemies

Enemy waves will attempt to destroy your Stronghold Mechanisms, so be sure to send out units to prevent their assault!
