Instructions for Unlocking ''Yachimatahime's Trial''
The first thing you have to do is get to Enkanomiya. Once you're there, a quest chain will automatically be unlocked.
''Yachimatahime's Trial'' can only be unlocked after completing the ''Entrance to Tokoyo'' and the ''The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent'' quests. Once you have the Bloodbranch Coral, go to The Serpent's Heart in Enkanomiya and look for a ''???'' ghost.

Full Quest Walkthrough
| Step by Step Instructions | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Go to the quest marker in the Evernight Temple area of Enkanomiya. |
| 2 |  Make sure you're in the Evernight state or else the Ghostfish won't appear. There's a Day-Night mechanism right beside the lake if you need it. |
| 3 |  There will be Bathysmal Vishaps surrounding this area. If you don't want to fight them, put a shield on and glide into the Ghostfish school. |
| 4 |  Wait until the Ghostfish school brings you to the portal. |
| 5 |  Once you're in a different location, talk to the spirit, Eki. |
| 6 |  Go to the quest marker and ''observe'' the pool of water. This will reveal the locations of the Flames, but the cutscene will end. The locations won't be marked. |
| 7 |  Go to each of the Flames' locations and touch them. Click here to jump to the location guide! |
| 8 |  Once you've touched all the flames, talk to Eki. Make sure you're in the Evernight state or they won't appear. |
| 9 | Finish the cutscene to complete the quest. Move on to either ''Yachimatahiko's Trial'' or ''Kunado's Trial'' to progress. If this is the last trial you needed, proceed to ''The Three Great Martial Trials.'' |

You actually don't get any rewards from this quest. You only get the rewards after you complete all challenges and finish The Three Great Martial Trials.
