How to follow the Aura Trail

The Aura Trail is a faint path that looks like a white gust of wind. It starts at the Cloud Retainer's Supreme Cuisine Machine and leads to a different location on the map.

It's a bit difficult to see and does not stand out even if you use Elemental Sight.

Cooking Course 1 Walkthrough

	Objectives
1	Talk to Cloud Retainer at the marked location in Huaguang Stone Forest in Liyue.
2	Follow the Aura Trail to a group of Anemo Slimes. You can use the marked path in the image above as a guide!
3	Collect the ingredients by defeating the marked Anemo Slime. It's easier if you use a bow character!
4	Head back to Cloud Retainer's location and talk to them twice. Tell them you're ready for the cooking game.
5	Play the cooking mini-game by stepping on the panels in front of the pots. Complete the dish then talk to Cloud Retainer again.

Cooking Course 2 Walkthrough

	Objectives
1	Talk to Cloud Retainer at Falcon Coast, Mondstadt this time.
2	Follow the aura trail until you come across a person being attacked by 2 hilichurls. Use the image above as a guide!
3	Defeat the Hilichurls and talk to Brunn.
4	Escort the transport balloon to the hilichurl camp with the ingredients.
5	Defeat the hilichurls in the area.
6	Check the cargo and return to Cloud Retainer.
7	Use the Supreme Cuisine Machine to cook the Rice Pudding.
8	Talk to Cloud Retainer and give them the Rice Pudding.

Cooking Course 3 Walkthrough

	Objectives
1	Talk to Cloud Retainer in Dragonspine.
2	Follow the aura trail until you come across a Frozen Boar inside a cage.
3	Use Pyro characters to melt the ice and make the platforms appear.
4	Step on the 4 platforms in the proper order. Click here for a detailed puzzle solution!
5	Melt the ice and defeat the Frozen boar to collect the ingredients.
6	Return to the Cloud Retainer and give her the ingredients.
7	Use the Supreme Cuisine Machine to cook the Braised Meat.
8	Talk to the Cloud Retainer and give her the Braised Meat.

How to Use the Supreme Cuisine Machine

Supreme Cuisine Machine Cooking Mini-Game

During the quest you will need to play a cooking mini-game using the Supreme Cuisine Machine. You need to keep an eye on the 3 gauges on top of each pot to make sure that there temperature is just right in the center.

Use the pedals to control the flame

There are 2 pedals on the ground that you can use to move the Adeptal Flame to the left or right. You need to step on the two almost constantly to balance the temperatures for the Supreme Cuisine Machines!

Use Elements to Control Temperature

You can also use Pyro attacks to raise the temperature of individual pots, or use Hydro or Cryo attacks to lower it.

Enemies can also affect the temperature

In the same way that you can use elemental attacks to control the temperature, enemies imbued with elements can also mess with the temperature so defeat them quickly!

Cuisine Machine Test Run Tips & Strategies

Dragonspine Puzzle Mechanism

To unlock the cage leading to the Frozen Boar ingredient, you must step on the platforms in the proper order. Make sure to melt the Ice first using Pyro to access the platforms.
