Even with only being able to utilize 1 stack of Crimson Flame, it is still adds more damage at the end of the day compared to Lavawalker and WT. ATK doesn't really boost her damage. Her multiplier on Health is 4x more effective on her E. She is a burst DPS, with a good 8s window of high damaging power, end it all with a self heal and kaboom and Crit Rate+ for Ganyu or Mona to sweep up while the 8s Blossom continuously applies fire elemental opener.
I got Hu Tao the day of her Release and I am absolutely in love with her. Though I would like to Add that Deathmatch is incredibly good with her considering the Built in Crit Rate synergise perfectly with her built in Crit Damage from ascension. .
Becouse Hu Tao need less then 50% hp to deal more damage :) Bennett healing is just too strong for her
why isnt bennet in her recommended party they’re literally the best together ...

Hu Tao’s dps when her E is on is superior than Diluc and Xiao. But I think ganyu still out dps her.

If you're saying she's trash, you don't know crap. If you're saying she's the best in the game you also don't know crap, but she undeniably outputs some very good numbers. Also waifu > meta, thank you for coming to my TED talk.
Very good character with decent investment, never shredded bosses harder before. C1 charge spam has some insane numbers, and her low HP skill + burst can easily hit for 100k+ and get you back up to high HP to avoid fatal situations. During her skill downtime she is relatively weak, and so it's clear that characters such as Ganyu are far more consistent in their DPS and overall usefulness, but those 9 seconds when she's on fire are an incredibly valuable and menacing 9 seconds.
Zhongli should be in one of the recommended supports IMO. his shield is super beefy and can keep her at 50% or under without worrying about the shield breaking while giving the resistance reduction on enemies
2 piece glad is really bad for her because of her low base attack tho. Even 1 stack of witch is better than that.

I think that Diona is better, you have a shield, healing and her passive make Hu Tao use less stamina during charge atk or dash
I just thought i'd say that you dont really want to 4-piece the Crimson Witch of Flames because Hu Tao can't really use her ability 3 times every 10 seconds or she'll die; unless I guess you've got some insane healing. I would suggest either 2 Gladiator & 2 Crimson Witch, or 4-piece Lavawalker (no point in 2-piece Lavawalker).
if you've studied her a lot then you should know that retracing bolide is indeed a very viable option for her if you have zhongli. I run retracing bolide on her and I pair her up with zhongli since he has 100% shield uptime (meaning hu tao doesn't need a healer like Bennett) and hu tao can gain a 40% damage bonus while shielded. since hu tao has a low base attack, she doesn't benefit much from atk% and rather she benefits from dmg%, so bolide does indeed work for her.
I feel like people are kinda forgetting that those are all limitied characters: Ganyu, Hu Tao e.t.c. When's the next time Ganyu comes around? Anyone who started after her release has close to 0 chances to get her xD On the side note, what do you think about running her with: Hu Tao - Xiao - Mona - Jean. Hu Tao and Xiao for switching between them during CD, Mona for taunts and burst, and Jean for heals and occasional grouping-up. If one main dps gets low switch to another + anemo reso for energy
