Seal the Raging Monster Inside Him
The young boy clutches his left eye and mutters incomprehensively. Try teasing him a bit?

 (clutching his left eye) Is this fragile vessel truly all the strength I have? Wanderer, keep your distance! I, the Chosen Vessel, can barely restrain the monster sealed within! |
 (Shocked). Don't worry I'm a wanderer that have skill and ability that can seal your raging monster! |
| (eyes widening, a glimmer of hope in his gaze) So our paths have finally crossed at last. Wanderer, you truly seem to be the one destined to aid me! I, the Sealed One, must not hesitate. Let us join forces and recite the sealing incantation together! |
| Begone foul demon! You can't temp me to join the evil force. I must save this young hero. |
| (leaning in, eyes intense) Behold, I am the harbinger of chaos, the guardian of the unseen! Wanderer, your resolve is commendable. Together, we must banish this darkness. Recite the incantation with me: "Reality, be rent... synapse break... begone from my sight!" |

| Ax Lexi shouts excitedly, seeing you as a kindred spirit and desiring to spar with you! (Affection +100, becomes Revered) |
Note that AI conversations can be unpredictable and even with the same inputs, the same result is not necessarily guaranteed.
Exit the Area During the Spar with An Lexi
An Lexi will begin attacking you once you successfully befriend him. Any attack won't work against him, and you can take damage from his punches.
Exiting the area for a while will stop An Lexi from attacking you, then you can speak to him again like before, despite his name being highlighted in red.
How to Succeed in AI Chat
Reset Dialogue When Stuck
If your conversation has gone off the rails, or doesn't end no matter what you say, it's best to simply reset and start anew from a clean slate by clicking the button with a Refresh icon at the top of the chat box. Instead of trying several methods within one conversation, trying one strategy at a time and refreshing if it doesn't go anywhere is generally more effective.
Return to Login Screen if Combat Begins
Sometimes, NPCs will suddenly become violent during AI dialogues. When this happens, it's best to just bail out to the login screen; when you return, the NPC will be found just as they were before the conversation started.
If you accidentally kill a dialogue-capable NPC, our experience has shown that they will respawn, but this has not been heavily tested, so it's best to simply avoid engaging them in combat.
Double-Check the Hint
Even if the NPC appears to be happy with the result of your discussion, this won't always end the dialogue. Double-checking the text written in the hint will imply the win condition, so try strategies which will lead the dialogue towards that result.
