Affairs at the Celestial Spring Station
Begin the Jianghu Legacy, Desert Without Sails. After arriving in Sanwei Valley, repair the bridge with Cosmic Reversal, then take the first chest that you will find across. This will be the first dark surge fragment for this story.
Immortal Poplars
Complete the Land of Gold Encounter quest. You will receive the 2nd Dark Fragment upon finishing this:
- Fetch Water from the Well
- Treat Granny Yang
- Resolve the Dispute at the Camp
- Look for the Poplar Leaf Ledger
- Look for Traces of the Merchant of Gold
- Go to the Highest Place on the Poplar Tree
- Take the Dance Score at the Top of the Tree
- Investigate the Well in the Village
- Catch Up with Granny Yang
Flute Song in the Sandstorm
Finish the Exploration Quest, Flute of the Tides, to receive the 3rd Dark Fragment as a reward:
- Talk to the Monk Unknowing, playing a flute in Peaceward Camp.
- Play the flute in Whitecrown City and Heroic Tomb.
- Return to the Monk Unknowing in Peaceward Camp.
