Marathon’s upcoming update will add new Runner shell skins to its Season 1 Battle Pass after player feedback, including three for the premium track and one major skin.
Marathon’s Next Update Adds More Value to Season 1 Battle Pass
More Skins for Every Shell

Marathon’s first battle pass will add four major Runner Shell skins to its lineup in response to player feedback. When Bungie’s latest extraction shooter hit the market on March 6, players criticized the "lack of value" in the $10 Battle Pass, which initially included only one Runner Shell skin and left the other classes without cosmetics.
While Marathon’s launch has been largely successful, the cosmetic value of its Season 1 Battle Pass was not well-received by many players. Only Vandal, the agile Runner shell, received a major skin, and the rest of the rewards consisted of standard stickers for weapon customization, weapon skins, and a handful of Schemas that serve as vouchers in the in-game armory, where players purchase their gear.

In a recent post on Marathon’s official social channels, Bungie confirmed it has listened to player feedback and will add new content to the existing Season 1 Battle Pass. Premium Tier owners will receive three Runner Shell skins for the Thief, Assassin, and Destroyer, all featuring the same "Achromatic Rush" motif as the current Vandal skin. Free users will also receive a Recon skin, styled to match the rest of the Battle Pass.
Bungie has no specific date announced yet, but it is aiming to release these added rewards in mid-April, which will "align with the middle of the season."
Twitch Drops Disappearing for Players

In addition to the Battle Pass update, Bungie has yet to address an issue where players lose earned Twitch Drops if their vaults are full, causing sponsored kits to disappear with no way to recover them.
Normally, Sponsored Kits (or free loadouts) are placed into a player’s overflow section in their Vault, allowing players to decide which items to discard to make room for new ones. Twitch Drops, however, do not have this kind of luxury; claiming them with a full vault results in the items vanishing into the ether.

Bungie is currently monitoring the situation on their Discord server, noting that while the issue has been identified, no fix is available yet. In the meantime, the studio advises players to ensure their vaults are not full before claiming Twitch Drops.
The extraction shooter has been rolling out a flurry of fresh content in the days following its major launch on March 6. A mysterious ARG or Alternate Reality Game, is already challenging players’ wits, while the fourth map, the Cryo Archives, is being prepared for the hardened Runners ready to take on its trials.
