Noelle Hypercarry Deck Strengths | |||
---|---|---|---|
• Very high single target damage. Can defeat one or two characters in a single turn. • Has great sustain thanks to Noelle's Elemental Skill, Breastplate. • Has great Piercing DMG because of Keqing's burst. |
|||
Noelle Hypercarry Deck Weaknesses | |||
• Weak against Elemental Reaction teams. • May require card combos, which may become hampered by a relatively bad card draw. • Particularly weak against Freeze teams. • Only has Noelle as the carry, hence if she goes down, it'll difficult outputting massive single-target DMG. |
Combo Card 1 | Combo Card 2 | Result |
---|---|---|
Noelle | Starsigns | - Although this deck primarily gets its DMG output from Noelle's normal attacks, you'd still want to ready her burst as much as possible to empower it further. |
Noelle | Minty Meat Rolls | Lets you do at least two cycles of Normal Attacks per turn. This lets you hit frequently, which maximizes your burst effect + the Wolf Gravestone. |
Elemental Resonance: Woven Thunder | Calx's Arts | - Lets you redirect your energy points toward Noelle. Since Woven Thunder can only be played with two Electro character cards in the deck, Keqing and Fischl are two of the more effective for this job. |
Strategize | Liyue Harbor Wharf | - Enables you to draw more cards, which makes it easier to do the combo cards to maximize Noelle's potential with ease. |
Elemental Resonance: High Voltage | Iron Tongue Tian | - Generates more Energy points for Noelle, even if your characters become switched. This ensures that Noelle will generate her energy requirement in most turns. |
I Got Your Back | Leave it to Me! | - A great way to get out of any forced swap situations such as when you're Overloaded. This also helps you sustain the entire team, especially when you're stuck in a rut. |
Recommended Starting Hand | |||
---|---|---|---|
Strategize | Minty Meat Rolls | Starsigns | Wolf's Gravestone |
Strategize is probably the best card in hand at the first round of the duel as it provides better chances of building momentum when it comes to empowering Noelle. Pairing this with Starsigns will make it easier to fill-up her Burst meter, which is exactly what you want to happen in the earlier phases of the battle.
Wolf's Gravestone and Minty Meat Rolls will make your Normal Attacks pack a punch at a relatively lower cost, which means you can cycle a number of Normal Attacks in one round.
After equipping Wolf's Gravestone, play Minty Meat Rolls and do a Normal Attack. Once it becomes your turn again, immediately use Strategize to see if there's any card you can use in the round, otherwise immediately use your burst after playing Starsigns.
The aforementioned combo is basically the backbone of the deck that you want to cycle each turn. Further empower your cycles by generating more Energy Points using Elemental Resonance: High Voltage and Calx's Arts.
Kurisu | Yohanan | Mikoshi Genichirou |
Any NPC with cards that have high health pools will absolutely melt against this Ayamiyia melt deck. The AI doesn't usually field disruptive card combos, letting you deal uninterrupted damage.
Xingqiu | Ganyu | Yoimiya |
For the same reasons we discussed above, this deck is excellent against almost any AI deck in the game that doesn't run any disruptive cards.
The main goal of Overloaded is to disrupt the combo of the enemy by forcibly swapping active characters. However, despite this deck focusing on maximizing Noelle's kit, it also provides a good countermeasure against forced-swapping which usually accounts for loss of energy.
Keqing also provides a good piercing damage, which can still shred the enemy deck to a degree, which also lets her generate an Energy Point that can be redirected toward Noelle when Calx's Arts is used.
Kamisato Ayaka | Xingqiu |
The Noelle Hypercarry deck is very weak against Freeze decks that can shut down Noelle for a round. Overloaded is one thing, but when Noelle is Frozen, she won't be able to do anything to damage and generate Energy points.
