you literally couldnt have done a worse job at this.
I don't know who is the person posting this, but clearly they are horrible at directions. In the "Chest 2" picture, they tell you to face left, BUT it faces left by default. Rather, it has to face the opposite direction from where you entered the room, NOT left. That picture also shows its default position, not the correct position it should be facing in order to open the gate to the chest on the left (or to the right from the entrance)
Now I understand why it doesn't work. The instructionsdidn't explain what "facing" implied in this case. If you thought it meant the direction of their faces, you're wrong. If you thought it meant the direction they're point, you're wrong. In this case, "facing" means "the direction in which the torso is pointing". The face and forward hand doesn't point the direction, the torso does.
Where the 2 face each other, I got that right. But where the left one faces forward, and the right one faces right, it doesn't work. I tried it multiple times but it just does NOT work in the slightest. It just doesn't.
