Track the Jianghu Legacy 01 from the Kaifeng Exploration Menu

Ask the Wayfarer at Kaifeng City
|
To unlock the quest Jianghu Legacy - 01 Streetwise Sage, talk to the Wayfarer of Kaifeng City. To track the quest, select it from the Side Story tab of the Exploration menu and inspect it to reveal its location and start tracking the quest.

1. Ask Xue Chou About the Nine Mortal Ways
Meet Xue Chou in the Kaifeng City Fairgrounds. You can find him leaning against a pillar. Ask him about the Nine Mortal Ways, then he will ask you to do a trial to prove yourself.
2. Sneak into the Courier Station
Your trial is to sneak into Huaixin Station and steal their treasure. It is a confidential letter written in a secret code. Follow the waypoint on the roofs. If you are spotted, you have to redo the objective.
3. Gather Intel at the Station
| 3.1 |  Gather intel from the Khitans by following each waypoint and eavesdropping on their conversations. The first person to eavesdrop on is the Khitan Warrior from the edge of the roof. |

| 3.2 |  Leap to the next roof and carefully hop down to eavesdrop on the Khitan Noble through the window. |
| 3.3 |  Jump back to a roof and eavesdrop on the two men over the edge. |
4. Gather Intel Inside the House
| 4.1 |  Find a way to get inside the house. Sneak along the lower roof to reach the attic window. Crouch to enter the attic, and watch out for the hole upon entry. If you fall through, however, you will respawn in the attic. |

| 4.2 |  Through a hole, eavesdrop on the maids. Then use Celestial Seize to snatch the compass. |
| 4.3 |  Through another hole, eavesdrop on He Luben's sleep talk. Use Celestial Seize to snatch the Embroidered Handkerchief from his hand. |
| 4.4 |  Lastly, eavesdrop on Yao Guoguo. Snatch the Suspicious Letter Box from the shelf to the left. |
| 4.5 |  Leave through the attic window and hop down to the street. A thief will suddenly snatch the letter from you, initiating a chase sequence. |
5. Pursue the Thief
Pursue the thief all the way back to Fairgrounds. Press the right buttons in each quick-time event and keep an eye out for icons to jump. Close in on the thief until you reach the fortified wall. If you fail to catch the thief, you need to redo the sequence.
6. Defeat the Nine Mortal Ways Disciple
Defeat the Nine Mortal Ways Disciple to retrieve the secret letter. After a cutscene with Xue Chou, you will learn that the whole ordeal was Xue Chou testing you. The quest will end afterwards.
