Tuning Stones are materials used for enhancing equipment in Where Winds Meet, obtained by participating in online Fireworks Show events. This guide explains how to farm Tuning Stones efficiently, how to acquire more through events and shops, and how to use them in the Tuning system.
How to Farm Tuning Stones
Dismantle Unwanted Gear
The best way to farm Tuning Stones is to collect as much equipment as possible and dismantle any unwanted gear to convert them into Tuning Stones. Gear that can be converted into Tuning Stones can be farmed through combat activities such as Outposts, Campaign Challenges, or Sword Trials.
Be careful, however, when dismantling gear as some may grant unique effects when used as Tuning Material.
Save Special Gear Used for Tuning
There is a rare chance for gear you obtain to have special effects when used as Tuning Material. These effects vary from granting extra Tuning experience to guaranteeing an Epic or Legendary tuned affix. These special effects do not carry over when dismantled into Tuning Stones, so be careful not to dismantle them.

Participate in the Multiplayer Firework Show
General, all-tier Tuning Stones can be obtained by participating in the multiplayer version of the Fireworks Show event. This event is available every night at your local time in the Velvet Shade section of Kaifeng city.
Obtained as Event Rewards
More general, all-tier Tuning Stones are obtained as rewards from the Qinghe and Kaifeng Lumina Guide Events. These can be claimed from the Exploration: Enemies section of the events upon completing the associated challenges.
Purchase Tuning Stones of Different Tiers From Tang Bao
The Weiyang Merchant, Tang Bao, sells different tiers of Tuning Stones for Jade Echoes near the Blissful Retreat Boundary Stone. Given the limited nature of Jade Echoes and their importance in other systems, it is not recommended to purchase Tuning Stones from this vendor.
How to Use Tuning Stones
Tuning Stones are used as materials to improve equipment through the Tuning system. This system adds tuned affixes to gear, providing additional offensive and defensive effects.
Aside from Tuning Stones, other gear of the same tier as the one you’re tuning can also be used as material for Tuning.
