How to Unlock Stormbreaker Spear
Obtained From the In-Game Mail By Reaching Level 3
The Stormbreaker Spear can be obtained by opening the in-game mail. Once you reach level 3, you'll recieve the email from the game that you can open, accept the reward to unlock the Stormbreaker Spear.
Stormbreaker Spear Martial Arts
Stormbreaker Spear Special Skills
| Martial Art | Description |
|---|---|
| Thunder Shock |
Consume 2 bars of Fighting Spirit to brace the spear and launch a spinning kick forward, followed by a flipping slam, knocking the target down and applying Vulnerability for 8s. Grants Fortitude during the skill. |
Special Skills can be unlocked by unlocking the seventh node on the talent tree. Once unlocked, you'll be able to use the martial art's heavy attacks.
Stormbreaker Spear Martial Skills

| Storm Roar |
Shake the spear to release sonic waves, Taunting nearby enemies and Shocking them for 8s while gaining 20% damage reduction for 16s (40% when hitting a Multiplayer Campaign boss). Grants Fortitude during the skill. |
The Martial Skill is the default skill you can use for your chosen martial art. There are no other prerequisites to unlocking the Martial Skills and can be used immediately after starting the game.
Stormbreaker Spear Light Attacks

Stormbreaker Spear Heavy Attacks

Charged Skill After charging, unleash a flurry of thrusts, dealing high damage. Gain Drumbeat on the final strike. Grants FOrtitude during the skill. |

Swing a spear to perform up to three Heavy Attacks. |
Charged skills and heavy attacks can be unlocked by unlocking the third node on the talent tree. Once unlocked, you'll be able to use the martial art's heavy attacks.
Stormbreaker Spear Conversion

Switch weapon to spear and perform a sweeping attack. |
Conversion or Dual-Weapon skills can be unlocked by unlocking the third node on the talent tree. Once unlocked, you'll be able to use the martial art's heavy attacks.

Deliver a powerful downward strike with the spear while airborne. |

Quickly recovery after being knocked down. |

Consume and Charge Fighting Spirit
Consuming and Charging Fighting Spirit is the main mechanic you'll need to play around when using the Stormbreaker Spear. Attacks consume Fighting Spirit and will let you unleash stronger charged attacks that lets the weapon be a strong tanking weapon without losing DPS.
To regain Fighting Spirit, you'll need to block enemies, a single block will replenish 1 charge which can be done by using your taunt skill.
Taunt to Take Aggro and Reduce Damage
Taunting with Storm Roar is your main way to recharge Fighting Spirit while also taking the heat off of your allies by redirecting enemies to you. You also gain damage reduction for 16 seconds which is a sizable buff that will let you endure the enemy onslaught you'll recieve from the taunt.
Thunder Shock can Knock Down Enemies and Increase Damage Taken
By consuming 2 Fighting Spirit, you can knock down enemies and reduce the damage you're taking. It will also apply Vulnerable which can let you or your team deal more damage to the knocked down target.

The Thundercry Blade is the best pair for the Stormbreaker Spear. It has strong charged attacks that complements with the Drumbeat buff you can get from the Stormbreaker Spear while also gaining shields to complement with your taunts and damage reduction.
Both martial arts at your arsenal lets you fill the tanker role for the team and survive even the strongest hits enemies can throw at you.
