When the Pokemon is in Disguised Form and takes damage from opposing Pokemon, the Pokemon with this Ability has its HP decreased by a set percentage of its remaining HP, nullifies damage for a set amount of time, and changes to Busted Form. At the same time, a revenge mark is applied to the opposing Pokemon that dealt the damage. The Pokemon with this Ability increases in movement speed when approaching revenge-marked opposing Pokemon and deals increased damage to them. If the Pokemon remains in Busted Form for a set amount of time, it returns to Disguised Form. If the Pokemon knocks out an opposing Pokemon, the time it takes to return to Disguised Form is decreased.
Disguise marks an opponent who hits Mimikyu while in disguise form. Mimikyu gains increased movement speed when facing the marked opponent and deals increased damage to it. It's best to aim for the marked opponent to utilize the bonuses that Mimikyu gains.
Although Mimikyu gains benefits when hit during Disguise form, the Pokemon's HP is also set to a percentage of its max HP in return. This makes Mimikyu less durable for a while until Disguise finishes cooling down. It's best to look at the situation first before engaging while Mimikyu is in this state.
Disguise goes on cooldown after it's triggered. The move's cooldown can be reduced by knocking out opponents. As much as possible, get a few knockouts whenever Disguise is on cooldown to hasten its cooldown.
