Play Rough Effect

Has the user jump forward, then move around opposing Pokemon it hits, dealing damage multiple times and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. After the attack is finished, the user jumps in the designated direction.

How to Use Play Rough

Use as a Mobility Tool

Just like any other Dash move, Play Rough can be used to traverse the map faster instead of dealing damage. The move's range is also long enough to allow Mimikyu to move through walls.

Choose the Jump-off Direction

After performing Play Rough, Mimikyu jumps off the target. The direction can be manually chosen simply by moving the D-pad towards the desired direction. Utilize this mechanic to land in a strategic direction.

Utilize the Invincible Effect

With the changes made to Play Rough, Mimikyu will now become invincible while attacking. Utilize this effect to dodge incoming damage.

Play Rough Patch History

1.14.2.10 Slow effect increased from 20% to 30%.
1.13.1.2 Cooldown increased from 5s → 7.5s (+2.5s).
1.12.1.6 Damge increased by 11%. Now enters a defensive state while attacking.
