Player Count - 5v5 Match.png

In Pokemon UNITE, up to a total of 10 players can compete with each other in a match and up to 5 players can be on a single team.

Teams will be split into two, one purple team and one orange team.

Each game mode has its own set rules to play by. There are also 4v4 and 3v3 modes.

Fun on Solo or With Friends

Friendly Matches

Friendly Match

Friendly Matches let you invite up to 9 other friends, depending on the match type. All the rules of Friendly Matches are the same as the ones in Standard and Quick Battles.

The same problem persists in Quick Matches for Friendly match lobbies in that you are still limited to playing on the map that is currently in rotation.

Play With Bots

Friendly Matches also allow players to add bots as allies and enemies. You can be more dynamic on how you want the teams to be. For example, you could have 3 players and 2 bots on each team, making it a 5v5 match consisting of 3 people and 2 bots.
