Play with Me... Effect

Has the user leap at an opposing Pokemon and trap it inside its rag, dealing damage over time and granting the user a shield. The trapped opposing Pokemon isn't affected by any Pokemon's moves except the user's. If the user loses its shield, or if a set amount of time passes, the user stops attacking and jumps in the designated direction.

UNITE Move Effect

After using Play with Me..., the Pokemon gains the following buff(s) for a few seconds:

Mimikyu ImageMimikyu Shield granted. Movement speed increased for a short time. Reducing move cooldowns for a short time.

How to Use Play with Me...

Aim for Key Targets

Use Play with Me to completely disable key targets, removing them out of the fight effectively for a duration. Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo Y or Leafeon are the best targets for the move since they are usually the team's damage dealers, and they have low durability.

Be Wary of Incoming Damage

Mimikyu gains a shield that absorbs damage whenever it uses Play with Me. When this shield breaks, the move stops prematurely even before the move's duration passes. With this in mind, always be aware of the opponents' position before using the move on a target to avoid breaking the shield and ending the move prematurely.
