Reduces the damage the Pokemon recieves for a short times and goes on cooldown after being triggered

Effect Duration is About 2 Seconds

The damage reduction effect lasts for about 2 seconds after triggering.

Multiscale Reduces Damage by 30%

In a balance patch released last June 15, 2023, Multiscale reduces damage by 30%.

On release, Mutiscale reduces damage by about 25%.

How to Use Multiscale

Use Extreme Speed to Reset the Cooldown

Pokemon UNITE - Dragonite Dueling Garchomp with Extreme Speed

Each time you use Extreme Speed, Multiscale's cooldown resets, allowing you to constantly trigger its effect. Constantly resetting Multiscale is an effective tactic for dueling enemies since it increases your durability and survivability.

Initiate Fights

Multiscale's damage reduction effect is great for initiating fights, allowing Dragonite to tank some damage as it charges.

Wait for Its Cooldown

As much as possible, wait for Multiscale to cooldown first before engaging or re-engaging to make the most of it.

Multiscale Patch History

1.10.1.3 Damage reduction percentage increased from 25% to 30%.
