According to a post from the official Pokemon UNITE Twitter account, Leafeon joins the Pokemon UNITE roster as a melee Speedster!
Leafeon has a higher than normal Attack and Defense, but it also has quite the speed in the original games. We may see a Speedster that can duel with other Pokemon in Leafeon!

Leafeon has high Offense but with low Endurance, which is typical for a Speedster. What's surprising is its Mobility, Scoring, and Support stats are all equal, giving it some versatility.
We will be adding more moves as they are announced so stay tuned! |
If a basic attack is performed when the user's Chlorophyll gauage is full, the entire gauge is consumed and the user's next basic attack becomes a boosted attack. This boosted attack deals additional damage and decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokemon it hits.
When the Pokemon with this Ability is not in tall grass, its Chlorophyll gauge charges. What the Chlorophyll gauge is full, the Pokemon with this Ability has its movement speed increased.
Launch 5 sharp-edged leaves in a direction, dealing damage to Pokémon when hit, and again when the leaves return. Wait even longer to deal increased damage, and if all five leaves hit one Pokémon, the user is granted a shield!
Leaf Blade decreases movement speed and deals increased damage when its outer ring hits.
Solar Blade gathers energy to deal increasing damage the longer it’s charged. With a full gauge, the next cooldown is reduced and the blade immediately deals maximum damage.
Based on the image above, Aerial Ace is Leafeon's other move, and it shares the same move slot as Leaf Blade. However, there are no details as to how the move works. But based on the existing Aerial Ace, we can speculate that Leafeon's Aerial Ace will function similarly.
Has Leafeon leap towards the enemy to deal damage and decrease its movement speed. It then leaps again and lands forcefully, dealing damage to those within range. Pokemon take more damage the closer they are to the center of the area of effect.
