Has the user charge in the designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. For a short time after the user charges, if this move is used again, the user attacks in front of itself, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits. At that time, additional damage is dealt based on the percentage of HP that the opposing Pokemon has lost.
Use Scratch to pressure opponents in the early game. The move's first activation is a dash that slows and damages opponents while its second activation deals additional damage based on missing HP.
Since Scratch's first activation is a dash, Mimikyu can utilize it to traverse the map faster or move through walls, especially when starting out in the jungle.
Use Scratch's second activation to finish off targets. This attack deals bonus damage based on the target's missing HP, making it a great finisher. The lower the target's HP is, the more damage is dealt.
Moreover, Mimikyu can use the time window between the first and second activations to attack, use other moves, or use items to further deplete the target's HP before ending with the second activation.
