Upon creating a Pokemon UNITE account, the player will get a unique Trainer ID, which you can use to add your friends. To view your Trainer ID, press the L button in the main menu to access your Trainer Information. Your Trainer ID is the combination of numbers and letters above your name.

Adding Friends Step-by-Step

1 In the Main Menu, Press "X" to access the sidebar.
2 Select "Friends".
3 Go one option down to "Friend Search". Then Press "X".
4 Enter the Trainer ID of the player you want to add then select "OK".
5 Select the trainer, then click "Add Friend".
6 An invite will be sent to the trainer!

Must Be Friends In-Game

It is important to note that you can only invite players to matches who are your friends in Pokemon UNITE, not friends of your Nintendo Account.

How to Join a Match Using Lobby ID

Ask for Lobby ID (Eng).png
You can join a match even if you are not friends with the host by asking for the 8-digit Lobby ID of their match. Once obtained, you can enter the lobby ID in the Lobby Search on the home screen.
