This is a guide on how to add friends in Pokemon Unite. Read on to learn how to add and invite friends, how to find your player ID, and more!
List of Contents
Upon creating a Pokemon UNITE account, the player will get a unique Trainer ID, which you can use to add your friends. To view your Trainer ID, press the L button in the main menu to access your Trainer Information. Your Trainer ID is the combination of numbers and letters above your name.
In the Main Menu, Press "X" to access the sidebar.
Go one option down to "Friend Search". Then Press "X".
Enter the Trainer ID of the player you want to add then select "OK".
Select the trainer, then click "Add Friend".
An invite will be sent to the trainer!
You can also send a friend request from the battle record screen after a match. If you're playing with a player who wants to be a friend, take advantage of this.
|How to Send a Friend Request After a Match|
By pressing the Y button while in the Lobby for a match, you can send an invitation to your friends. Friends who receive an invitation can join you by selecting OK in the pop-up invitation screen.
It is important to note that you can only invite players to matches who are your friends in Pokemon UNITE, not friends of your Nintendo Account.
You can join a match even if you are not friends with the host by asking for the 8-digit Lobby ID of their match. Once obtained, you can enter the lobby ID in the Lobby Search on the home screen.
You can view all the players you added in the Friends menu. You can also see their current level, and if they are online, offline, or currently in a match. Want to invite your friends to a match? Check out our guide on how to play online with friends!
It is not yet confirmed whether or not there is a limit to the number of friends you can have in your friends list. We will provide information as soon as it is available!
Multiplayer is only unlocked after completing the tutorial. The tutorial is important for knowing the game mechanics of the game.
