When the Pokemon is at half HP or less, its Attack and Sp. Atk are increased.

How to Use Torrent

Use Your Moves When You're at Half HP

Pokemon UNITE - Torrent - Use Moves at Half HP

Your damage output increases when you're at half HP. Use your moves while Torrent is active to maximize their damage. Using the Rapid Spin and Water Spout combo deals the most damage amon your moves.

Equip Survivability Items

Since Torrent activates at half HP, it's best to equip survivability items like Focus Band and Buddy Barrier to maximize Torrent's effects when you're at half HP
