When this Pokemon deals damage to a frozen Pokemon on the opposing team whose HP is below a set percentage, that Pokemon is instantly knocked out. When this Pokemon hits opposing Pokemon with moves, the Pokemon is granted a shield, and its crystal gauge increases. This shield can stack up to 2 times. When this Pokemon uses Whirlpool or Surf, the area the move passes through will become flooded. If the Pokemon freezes a flooded area, opposing Pokemon in the flooded area will also be frozen.
Pressure's best effect is enabling Suicune to instantly knock out frozen opponents whose HP is below a set percentage. In order to take full advantage of this effect, Suicune must constantly freeze opponents using its moves.
To do this, just take note that Suicune must drench opponents first using Surf or Whirlpool, then follow up with Ice Beam or Icy Wind to freeze them.
Whenever Suicune hits targets with its moves, it generates a shield and fills up its crystal gauge. The shield can stack up to 2 times, allowing it to tank more damage and prolong its life during fights. Meanwhile, filling up the crystal gauge allows Suicune to perform a boosted attack, which deals additional damage to frozen targets.
| 1.21.1.2 | Shield amount decreased 10%. |
|---|---|
| 1.19.1.2 | Freeze duration decreased from 1.25s to 1s. |
| 1.18.2.6 | Bug fix: Shield stacking limit reduced from 3 times to 2 times. |
