According to an official Twitter post from Pokemon UNITE, Mega Mewtwo X will be joining the roster as a Melee All-Rounder. It also has an entirely new mechanic where it can increase its Attack, Defense, and Sp. Def. stats when it Mega evolves, which could mean it's a front-line brawler type.

Based on the image above Mewtwo has fairly balanced stats, but once it evolves into Mega Mewtwo X, its offense and defense increases significantly.
The moves and ability below are taken directly from the Twitter post above.
When the Pokemon deals damage to an opposing Pokemon with a basic attack, your Mega Gauge increases. The more the mega gauge increases, the more the Pokemon's the Sp. Atk. and attack speed increase.
If the Mega Gauge becomes full when the Pokemon is level 5 or higher, the Pokémon Mega Evolves for a set amount of time. When the Pokemon Mega Evolves, its Sp. Atk. and attack speed increase even more, and its movement speed increases.
Has the user shove the designated opposing Pokemon and lock on to it. The locked-on Pokemon will have its movement speed decreased and take increased damage. After a set amount of time, this move deals damage to the locked-on opposing Pokemon based on the amount of damage it took while locked on.
Has the user direct psychic waves at the designated opposing Pokemon, dealing damage to it and decreasing its movement speed. At the end of the move, the user hits the designated opposing Pokemon and nearby opposing Pokemon with a strong psychic wave, throwing and dealing damage to all opposing Pokemon it hits. The farther the user is from the designated opposing Pokemon, the more damage this move deals.
Grants the user a shield for a short time. While the shield effect is active, the user's movement speed is increased, and the user recover HP based on the amount of damage it deals with basic attacks. When the shield effect is removed after a set amount of time, all of the user's move cooldowns are reduced, and the Mega gauge increases.
The user teleports to the designated location. For a short time, the user's movement speed and damage dealt increases, and its basic attacks increase the Mega gauge by a greater amount. After using this move, for a short time, this move can be used again once only.
Has the user bring down one powerful psychic blast upon each opposing Pokémon. Opposing Pokémon around each point of impact take damage, are left unable to act, and have their Sp. Def. decreased for a short time.

Future Sight and Psystrike are Mega Mewtwo X's first moveset. However, there are no details regarding how these moves work.
Recover and Teleport are Mega Mewtwo X's second moveset. Although there are also no details regarding how they work, we can speculate, based on their names, that Recover is some kind of healing move while Teleport is a dash.

Mewtwo is classified as a Legendary Pokemon so it doesn't evolve the normal way. Instead, it evolves via a special phenomenon called Mega Evolution.
Mega Evolution is a special type of Pokemon evolution that increases the power of certain Pokemon while also changes its form. In the main games, this is done by making a Pokemon hold a Mega Stone which enables it to ''mega evolve'' in battle.
Trainers usually make Mewtwo hold either a Mewtwonite X or Mewtwonite Y to make it evolve into Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y respectively.
In Pokemon UNITE, Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y will join separately via two licenses.
